Keto everthing bagels (slightly tweaked fathead dough with mayo!) So, I never really had the original fathead dough before, therefore I can't say this is the same or better, but since I didn't have cream cheese (which I don't usually buy, because I could never finish using that block before it went bad), I substituted the cream cheese with Primal kitchen Chipotle mayo and it worked great!
If you happen to not have cream cheese, maybe you can try this too!
For the recipe:
1. use the original fathead dough, but replace cream cheese with 1oz of mayo.
2. Add 1/2 tbsp baking powder to the almond flour and mix well.
3. bake at 400 F for 14 minutes (I used toaster oven!). (Bake time slightly different based on your ovens).
Last night we grilled steaks and served with lots of veggies- sautéed onions, stir-fried green beans, and curry coleslaw. Overall, a pretty simple meal. The curry coleslaw is a recipe I haven’t made in a long time, but it is definitely one worth sharing. I’ve used homemade mayo for this recipe, but this time I used @primalkitchenfoods
mayo. We also didn’t add any honey or sweetness to the recipe this time, and I think it still turned out great. Perfect recipe for summertime cookouts!
Ingredients: 6 c shredded green cabbage, 5 c shredded red cabbage, 4 c shredded carrots, 1.5-2 c dried cranberries, 2-2.5 c mayo, 2-3 TBSP apple cider vinegar (more if more mayo), 2 TBSP honey, 3 TBSP curry powder. -In large bowl, toss to combine all veggies and dried cranberries.
-Mix wet ingredients in smaller bowl. Stir mayo mixture into cabbage mix, coating well.

“These are a few of my favorite things...”🎶
I wanted to share with you guys some kitchen staples. These are items I use almost everyday.
Trader Joe’s salsa- This salsa is my favorite! It’s got just the right amount of kick to it. There’s no sugar in it which I like because I don’t like a sweet salsa. My favorite way to eat it is with plantains chips!
Aroy-D Coconut Milk- I’ve tried coconut milk from a can and a carton and they both are thin and watering to me. I like this one because it has a thickness to it but it’s still liquid enough to act as milk and not like coconut cream. It’s the perfect consistency in my book! The only place I know to get it is on Amazon. I’ve never seen it in a grocery store.
Primal Kitchen Mayo and Ranch- I basically switch back and forth between these two for my dipping sauce.😂 Back in college, my roommate introduced me to dipping fries in mayo. It sounded disgusting to me at the time, but now I totally get it! I wasn’t a big mayo fan growing up but that all changed when I tasted this mayo. It’s also made with real ingredients and good fat.
What are some of your kitchen staples????
Made one of my favorite savory snacks this morning after the gym! Deviled eggs...some people hate them, but those of us who love them realllllly love them! For 6 eggs I do about 4tbs of mayo, 1/8tsp of dry mustard and lots of salt and pepper. For one egg (2 halves) it comes out to about 115 calories, 6g protein and 11g fat. Of course depening on the mayo you use, I prefer the @primalkitchenfoods
avocado mayo as a previous whole30-er.
Avocado Mayo - one of my fave condiments I keep in the fridge. It includes avocado oil and just a handful of Paleo ingredients rather than harmful vegetable oils & other processed additives. (And it tastes good too!)
I like mixing it with canned salmon or chicken (and pickle relish, sea salt, pepper and other chopped ingredients like celery if I have ‘em) for a quick “protein salad” to throw on top of greens or in a sandwich.
Anybody had the Chipotle Lime or Garlic Aioli Mayos too? I haven’t yet but need to add those to the list to try!
Oh, hellooooooo! Look what's back! -
’s lemon garlic aioli tonight from her Cajun okra fries recipe and it is 🔥. So good. I also bought some @primalkitchenfoods
mayo to make it because I didn’t have the prep time to make my homemade mayo this time but next time I will. Still amazing. @alec_gettingfit
agrees that this recipe is a keeper for summer. As soon as okra is in season, this one will be on our menu, I just can’t wait until I can grow it myself again and we can have it fresh!

Grilling out on this gorgeous sunny weekend with burgers from @wholefoods
along with goat cheese, @primalkitchenfoods
mayo, avocado, spices and veggies 😋🍔 How’s your weekend going?!
I had to go to Kroger to pick up meds. I always like to go by the markdown cheese. I love to try all the good cheeses🤠 Today I grabbed - chipotle Bella Vitano, North Sea cheese, Prima Donna Fino blue wheel cheese🤠 also warmed up a leftover jalapeño pepper jack burger with mayo. I must say all 3 of these cheeses are fantastic I love pungent cheeses❤️ #Lowcarb #goodcheeses #lchf #primalkitchenmayo
For most of this year I’ll be home about 2 weeks of each month and it’s super important to me to eat at home as much as I can, since it’s hotel/restaurant life for those other 2. I try to make a whole, pasture raised organic chicken at the the start of each time I get home. It keeps me pretty well prepared in case I want to make bone broth, use it in stir fries, tacos, on top of salads or like here, as a nutrient dense chicken salad. Took me less than 5 minutes to make. So good, and so easy with what simple stuff I had in my fridge. To make, you’ll need:
•about 1 cup chicken
•1 large leaf of dino kale (or any kale)
•1 small carrot
•a few pieces of cilantro (fresh parsley would work too)
•a few shakes of dried garlic powder
•about 1 tbs. (or to desired consistency) of Chipotle Lime Mayo by @primalkitchenfoods
•salt to taste
Put it all in a food processor and pulse a few times. You can put it over some avo, a bed of greens (these are all from my backyard!👩🏻🌾), or on toast & you’re golden 💛
Feels so good to have food freedom again after being keto for so long!
Hamburger and bacon is from #butcherbox
, caprese salad minus the basil because I hate it, with a balsamic glaze, roasted green beans with lemon juice, and I dipped my burger in #primalkitchenmayo
decided to make deviled eggs because.. why not?! Ps- I got a little outta hand with the paprika 🤷🏻♀️
Successful Costco trip! @primalkitchenfoods
finally started selling mayo at our local Costco so of course I had to grab a jar 🙌🏼
Other fun find was @twrgrassfedbeef
Tuna Pasta Salad! A tasty summery meal!😊
•pink sea salt & pepper
-Cook pasta according to package directions; warm peas in a pot on the stove top over medium heat; rinse and chop carrots; place the carrots in a large bowl, mix in some mayo and seasonings of your choice, add tuna or other desired meat, once peas & pasta are done add them to the large bowl and mix together! Add more mayo if the mixture is too dry for you. Cover and place the mixture in the fridge and eat as a lunch, dinner, side dish, or snack! Super easy and delicious!! I have added pictures of ingredients that we would recommend using along with the ingredients so that you can see why we recommend these certain brands!👍🏼 Hope you ENJOY!
—Information & Tips—
.Safe Catch tuna is a little more pricy because they are strict about testing mercury levels and literally the only infringement is tuna! Tuna is a fish that is typically higher in mercury so you want to make sure you are doing your research before you buy just any can of tuna. We purchase it from @thrivemkt
usually. It’s also important that the can is BPA free!
.The two mayo options shown in the pictures are excellent and are free from harmful inflammatory oils. You can get them on Thrive or your local health food store.
.Of course choose organic ingredients when possible!
