It is no surprise that I always get inspired during my workouts, I constantly assess any form of stimulation I receive throughout my day and I try to extract values and lessons to improve myself.🙏 What I want to share today is this:
"You can keep going far longer than you initially thought you could".🤔
That's a quote I've found to be pretty accurate and true through the years but the tricky part is that most of the times you get to discover that in a really unpleasant way.
Every day you have to deal with a lot of demanding things of every aspect (mentally, physically, socially, financially etc). The sum of them forms a pack which has to be managed every single day along with every new rock that may occur and grow this pack. ⚠➕➕➕
Sometimes, you can have a lot on your plate and and still a lot of extra factors constantly pop out.😡 That's the point where you start feeling really overwhelmed, drained, exhausted and discouraged. It feels like you're dangerously approaching your limits, which expand every day, repeatedly.⏪
You get more or less familiar with that pattern, you feel that you can really handle this as you always do, you keep believing in yourself following the same successful practices when suddenly... it doesn't work anymore. You can not be that person any more. You simply can't get any more shit. The limits do not get expanded as always, they are just crossed. ❎❎❎
You realize that here starts the real struggle when you think you won't make it at all, you detach yourself from everything that used to hold you back, you burn🔥 some bridges, you just let the wildest explosion take place and you get out of it walking solid on your feet.💥💥💥 .
You can indeed keep going further than you thought you could, but you will only learn that, if you dare to walk further than you ever did before. Sometimes you will do it consciously, by choice. Some others you will do it just because you will not have any other choice left. No matter what, you will still be there on your own feet, free and ready to love all over again your brand new and stronger self. ✨

Sick right now, u guys😢. Not sure what got into Sweat, but we JUST sat down for our post-workout snack, and I noticed he had a weird look on his face (like he had a REALLY awesome and funny secret to tell me.) Before I could say anything, he yells "Geronimo!!!!!" and does a (really sweet) double backflip off the couch???! I guess he thought he would land on a pillow and I'd be super-impressed, but he mis-judged it, and SMASHED onto the hardwood floor😱😭...little gnome parts everywhere😔...Not sure what to do you guys...He's trying to play it off like it didn't hurt--I think he's more embarassed than anything...but I'm pretty sure I saw a tear, and he won't take his glasses off🙄 (calls them his "hater blockers"🤗😎)...*sigh* might have to make a quick Saturday trip to urgent care🙄. Say a little prayer for Sweat plz, u guys?🙏🙏🙏

High protein, high fat post-workout! 🌻 Fat is not a bad thing! Fat and protein keep you fuller for longer, as the body takes a longer time to digest them. This is part of the reason to not have too much fat/pro before your workout - your bod will be too busy focusing on digesting for you to give your full effort in your workout! 🌻 As for post-workout protein, what you need to know is that as long as you are getting your daily protein in, you are in the clear. 🌻 Bottom line about fat, it's all part of the balance, depending on what you are eating at night or the morning, some meals may have more fat, and some may have less. where you at in this show?!). I'm officially 9 weeks away from my cut. 😮😮 How has the time flown so fast?! I'm literally in the single digit range!
Today has been crazy productive - got up early got all my groceries, food prepped most of the main food staples for the week gymmed and showered and now I just need to pack my food for tomorrow and Monday because we are going to be doing a full day in Disneyland because it's officially Pixar Fest and I NEED to see the light parade lol. I'll be dead on my feet at work Monday, but I have my priorities.
Woke up this morning with the intent of doing a strength training workout, looked at my calendar, and realized I had booked a 60-minute spin class at @liftbbb
earlier this week since the grandparents wanted to take the kiddos out today. What a nice surprise! To top it off, @lanierey312
was able to join me for the sweat session (which was AMAZING with so much choreo!!) and “shots” afterwards at @thesourcewillowglen

¡TORTA DE BANANO MELCOCHUDA!🍌
🌟•Lo más común cuando llega el fin de semana son los antojos de dulce, por eso siempre modifico alguna receta de torta de banano🍌 para disfrutar sin remordimientos•🌟
Esta torta la hice con:
* 4 bananos triturados pero no del todo líquidos
* 4 huevos * 1 taza de harina de avena
* Esencia de vainilla
* 2 tazas de 1/4 de panela pulverizada
* 1/3 taza de avena en hojuelas
* 1/3 taza de leche (de coco o preferencia)
* 1/4 taza de aceite (si es de coco mejor o mantequilla de maní) * Polvo de hornear una cucharita
* Banano para decorar
La textura de esta torta a diferencia de las demás que he publicado, es mas compacta ya que al banano no estar completamente líquido y triturado forma grumos en la mezcla que la hacen mas apelmazada y se sienten los pedazos de banano al momento de comerla, en el video pueden ver hasta que punto los triture (deslizando la imagen). Siempre hago lo mismo o a veces cambio el orden que no va afectar como tal el resultado, huevos con banano y endulzante que pueden reemplazar por miel y esencia, luego secos con polvo de hornear y al final la leche y el aceite. ¡Cuando todo este mezclado lo llevamos al molde engrasado y enharinado, y si quieres decorar puedes poner laminas de banano en la superficie con cualquier fruto seco!

Quick meal after a workout before I head out again. I usually top it with proteinsauce, but since I already drank my shake, some sugarfree syrup is good enough as sweetener. 🙏 I need my oatmeals sweet... Having sugarfree syrup at home is something I recommend! I don't like to consume these kind of things on a daily basis, but for those emergency cases...yes! @starnutrition
These are a few of my favorite exercises for training Back & Biceps with free weights💪🏻I looove training back&bis...it’s actually become my favorite training day🙌🏻 There’s sooo many different exercises and ways you can target these muscles, not only in isolation, but with compound exercises as well👍🏻 .
1. Alternating standing rows (32 reps)
2. Hammer curls (16 reps)
3. Bent over reverse fly (16 reps)
4. Plank stance rows (12 each side)
TIPS: For hammer curls, make sure you’re curling your arms at a 45 degree angle. Keep a straight spine throughout bent over reverse flies, and try not to jerk the weights up...if you feel like you need to do this in order to complete the reps, decrease your weight a bit (same goes for alternating standing rows). And for plank stance rows, widen your stance enough so that your weight doesn’t favor the opposing side👌🏻
I’m using 20lb dumbbells for standing rows and plank stance rows, and 10lbs for hammer curls and bent over rows💥
