Frida and I stopping for a photo 🤙🏼
Postcard nº 52. • 20 Aprile 2018, Londra, Uk •
#London #TateModern #art #museum #thecity #postcardsfromtheworld #visitlondon
Summer whomst? I only know spring and blossoms 🌸🌸🌸🌸 (real talk though I’m getting whiplash from the weather)
They say home is where the heart is / but my heart is wild and free / so am I homeless or just heartless?
The Neo-Renaissance Hungarian State Opera House, with some elements of Baroque, was designed by Miklós Ybl, one of Europe’s leading architects in the mid- to late-nineteenth century. Although not famous for its size or capacity, acoustically it is considered to be one of the world’s finest. It was built in 1884.
The season lasts from September to the end of June and, in addition to opera performances, the House is home to the Hungarian National Ballet.
In front of the building are statues of Ferenc Erkel, who composed the Hungarian national anthem, “Himnusz,” and was the first music director of the Opera House; he was also founder of the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra. A statue of Franz Liszt, the best known Hungarian composer, is also featured.
We love sunset on the roof. Who else has a weakness for sunset shoots?
Seriously Morocco is MIND BLOWING. The scenery is unlike anything else. Put it on your bucket list if you haven’t already 👌🏽
The biggest disservice you can do to yourself is buy into the belief you have no power to make change.
Your power is invested into one of two area’s:
➖Power of circumstance
➖Power of choice
When you believe that you have no control you give the power to your circumstances. Lack of time, lack of money, lack of skills etc etc..... Ultimately what is happening is that you’re shifting responsibility from within to something external. The reason most people do this is that it fuels the belief that you have no control over the desired result. You believe that you can’t achieve a goal because...... external reason and yes in some extreme cases some are completely out of your control. But what you do next needs to be a your choice.
The problem with giving your power to the circumstance is that change ultimately is now not in your control as you belief that an external circumstance now controls your life, how you feel and act moving forward.
The first step to moving forward is taking complete responsibility for where you currently stand regardless if it isn’t what you want and stop blaming everything around you.
Because ultimately what is present right now is all you have. The past is gone you can’t change it, you did what you did. What happened is what happened. You didn’t do what you didn’t do and you got what you got or didn’t get.
However! The next step forward much be from a place where no one else is responsibility for your life other than you. You have complete choice what you’re life will look like in 3-6-12 months time. But it will be shaped by the decisions you make today.
But understand that no one makes that decision other than you. So do something your future self will thank you for. We constantly see people overcome great levels of adversity and yet make an everlasting impact in this world. Why because they understand the power lies within their own choice.
I’ll Leave you with this thought 🤔
Why are you here?
and what are you here to do?
Who are you going to impact?
How are you contributing to others?
You will always be enough
You will always be loved
You’re alive on this planet, now go out and make some f#@king
The fountain dates back to ancient Roman times, since the construction of the Aqua Virgo Aqueduct in 19 B.C. that provided water to the Roman baths and the fountains of central Rome⛲️It’s said that the Aqua Virgo is named in honor of a young Roman girl who led thirsty soldiers to the source of the spring to drink▪️
🌻และฉันจะรอตรงนี้ เชื่อมั่นในความรักที่มี เชื่อว่าคงต้องมี...สักวัน🍀

My kind of summer shadows | Calm days 🌴
This week we’re meeting lovely Jo, founder of Italian Villa rental firm @bookings_for_you
Jo left her role at a large corporate to look after her little ones & has since created an incredible business in Italy and France. So Jo,
•Why does BFY mean the Perfect holiday?
👩🏼We offer a very personal service. We visit all the properties so we can really tailor the options we suggest to our clients. I also believe that a villa holiday offers a really relaxing accommodation choice & a truly authentic experience.
•How do you juggle business & mum life?
👩🏼Long hours! Running my own business allows me to work flexibly around the children. I work when they are at school and again at night allowing me to have time with them at the end of the school day.
•Surprises about working with Italians?
👩🏼Their generosity and warmth never ceases to amaze me. Such welcoming, friendly & hospitable people.
👩🏼It would be between Umbria, Puglia & the Italian Lakes. South Africa would also be on the list. We visited Vietnam this year which I loved.
👩🏼A trip to Dubai years ago. I had flu & the accommodation we booked turned out to be a complete disappointment (or a complete con!) Just goes to show, even the experts can get caught out!!
•Miss anything pre BFY?
👩🏼No! I never miss my previous career & much prefer running BFY. Before this I was a SAHM but I set the business up when the children started school and would have been lost without this to keep me busy!
•Me time =
👩🏼As much time as possible at the gym or swimming!
•Fav Italian food?
👩🏼Tagliata di Manzo is always a winner but most pasta dishes will be winners with me – ragu bianco is a firm favourite!
•Advice for a #mumboss
👩🏼Learn to delegate! I have been notoriously bad at delegating in the past but am learning and what a difference it is making!
•Perfect day =
👩🏼Corny but it would be a day with my husband and children relaxing in the garden. #bookingsforyou #notjustavilla #italianholidays
Good morning. Summer in coming 😊
