2nd Olympic Gold Medalist in here this week 🥇
Tatyana Kolpakova won the gold medal in long jump at the 1980 Moscow games. In what was considered one of the greatest come from behind victories in the sport, she won gold with her last jump of 7.06 meters, which beat her personal best by 9 inches, and setting a new record for the sport at that time 🤗
She is visiting her daughter in Portland (who is a long time @performancebodyworkpdx
client). She tried #NovoTHOR
for the first time and loved it after her long flight 😊🛫

Older monster concept sketch. :) 'eye see you' ;) I made this a while back when I was working on my childrens book. I went through a time period where I was enjoying playing around with different odd concepts. Kind of shying away from anime type styles and more so trying to paint creepy monster art. This was before both if these styles merged into what you see today.
You know there is a problem when you are willing to drive three hours out of the way to get to your favorite ice cream spot.
Waiting in line like a true Portlandian should. We LOVE waiting in line for food... Always have to try new burgahs though.
Starting to feel like the glass is half full
Mantel just sent off a large load of handmade items from about 16 artists (mostly local) to be included in @em_henderson

The flower that blooms in adversity 🌹
Bluegrass, wine, roasted fresh corn, legs scratched up from blackberry picking, kids running free, ridiculously warm community. #portland #livingthedream
Ma says I’m cute as a kitten when I’m wet, I don’t know about the kitten part, but I’ll take it! 😻

Portland’s mural wisdom ✌🏻
Side note: the traffic is worse than Seattle rn 🤢😰
“Never mistake activity for achievement.” - John Wooden. It isn’t enough just to show up and do things you must have intent and purpose behind your actions if you want to achieve. You must set goals and check in to see if you actually made real growth. Don’t just “sweat”, but instead “train” like an athlete.
I came. I saw. I conquered.
The Macinator is a dream and a half. Hella shout out to @lebeardedcooper
for being a bro and making sure I didn't miss out on the eighth wonder of the world.
Sometimes you have to look at the scene from a different view. This photo came me finding a patch of overgrown weeds behind a sign in the middle of downtown!
