I have been long journey through weight loss for so many years. The path to weight loss and build muscles are not easy for everyone. I have to be a lot of patience through the weight loss journey. My struggles are real frustrating for many times, I am still learn how to be patience it. The results will be shown you when you are training hard and follow the nutrition. I haven’t look at past picture that is behind by me for long time until I saw an old picture of me. I start thinking by myself for silent moments by look at an old pictures when I was near overweight. I am so proudly of myself for work so hard all way through the journey. There is nothing impossible to loss weight and build muscles by attending the gym and eat right nutrition to treat your body.

When I graduated high school I weighed 125lbs and I had one goal in mind, to get to 150lbs. -
People told me I was crazy. -
They said that 150lbs would be to big for me. -
They said I would look disproportionate. -
They said that my genetics wouldn’t let me gain the weight anyways. -
Well today I sit around 155lbs and I’m still going up. I have these same people telling me how amazing my progress is. I have people asking me questions daily on how THEY can accomplish something like this. -
Moral of the story. Don’t listen to what other people tell you. If you have a dream you need to go after it. Doesn’t matter the reason, doesn’t matter the motive. JUST DO IT. #ThrowBackThursday

Today is a rest day from my workouts. I never like taking them, but it is necessary to staying healthy. Rest is when our body rebuilds, recovers and gains strength again.
So on weekly rest days I devote my time to my education! This week, I started my final course in nutrition! FINALLY! It’s been years in the making! But with steady work, it’s happening!
One my dreams is to be a fully certified nutritionist and personal trainer. From there I’m looking at the holistic side of health. I believe it does have its place!
I was hoping to be done a year ago, but I’m a mom too. And sometimes my education has to take a back seat to that. It’s ok! One day at a time, one test, one exam and one paper at a time I will get there!!
Life is about adventure and learning! I have been blessed with a second chance at life, and so I’m using it to help others.
Today, while my muscles rest and recover, I’m overloading my brain with knowledge! Always growing! Always learning!

For some reason I’ve been asked a few times lately when I’m competing again. And the answer is probably never. I competed in October 2015 and it’s taken me this long to find a healthy balance. So for my priorities right now, it doesn’t make sense. But I guess never say never?! But seriously probably never 😂
What goes through your mind just before you start your set?
Along with getting proper sleep and eating well, I think your mentality plays a huge role in how your workouts go. .
I hear too many people say, "I can't do that", or "There' s no way." .
If you plan on failing, guess what, YOU'RE GOING TO FAIL.
Now I'm one of those weird people that can trigger anger before a lift to fuel me. I've come to realize that's not as common as I thought. But, what you think before you lift that weight can turn failure to success. .
You have to want to succeed. .
You have to believe you'll succeed.
