Not a 100% but I’d say a majority of my pcos symptoms I υѕє∂ to struggle with are significantly reduced. And polycystic ovarian syndrome is incurable so given that I would say that’s pretty awesome. 😍

What I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about the fitness journey I am on is the ACCOUNTABILITY. It’s easy to do things on your own...not really be feelin’ it and quit half way through, with no motivation, and no one to push you to keep going. 💪🏼
The program I follow is virtual, all at home workouts, nutrition plans, ACCOUNTABILITY TEAM, monthly challenge groups, sweat partners, and supplemented with a dense nutrition shake 😍
Here is my sweat partner and twin sister, one of many badass chicks on my team. We are on the same journey, same workouts, 2 separate houses, different workout times, but able to cheer each other on and get it done! When we feel like quitting or taking a day off we look to our team mates for extra encouragement, extra motivation, and that’s something the gym or working out doesn’t give ya. It makes all the difference! Here we are 59 days straight without missing a workout 🙌🏻🎉

Real talk, this lighting is awful and you can really tell my skin on my jawline is bad here. I was tempted to edit it out, but I’m really struggling with it right now and I want to be genuine in that. My skin and hormones are kind of a mess right now, but I’m doing what I can to improve it and forgetting about the rest! Trying to feel beautiful and strong, acne and all.

Not too long ago I actually stepped out of my comfort zone and went on stage. The old me wouldn’t have went on stage even if its to get recognition. Those who are following my weight loss journey I noticed I loved to help others also with their weight loss journey. It’s probably the teacher in me that I have this satisfaction educating and helping others through this tough but so worth it journey. On this day I was recognized with many others of the hard work I’ve been doing for the past couple of months. This is proof I truly enjoy not only the product but helping others as well. Wouldn’t have been able to do this with the team behind me. I am not myself today. .
Frustrated, irritated, defeated, off balance, hungry, sad, exhausted...all the things. And it showed, I STRUGGLED during my workout. .
I got it done but it wasn’t pretty, and unlike most nights I’m actually feeling all those negative things MORE after my workout than less - usually workouts are a source of relief for me but not today. .
You’re not always going to be a ray of productive, happy, enlightened sunshine. Sometimes things just suck and you’re in a funk and that’s okay! .
Whatever you’re feeling is legitimate, and valid, whenever you’re feeling it. Remove phrases like ‘I shouldn’t be feeling this way’ because all that does is then make you feel guilty for feeling your feelings and does nothing to make anything better .
Sometimes you just need to take a while to be not okay - and that in ITSELF is okay! Feel what you have to feel, honor it, and don’t judge it or yourself so that it can serve it’s purpose, then leave and you can find your peace and joy again. .
Give yourself permission and grace to feel 💜

throughout my weight loss journey this far. PCOS is one of the leading causes of infertility in women, and many women don’t even know that they have it until they try to start a family. I was told multiple times that my being 110 pounds overweight was the reason for my irregular, awful periods, my acne, and my inability to get pregnant after over a year of trying. For months, I dealt with the guilt of thinking that I did this to myself and struggling through yo-yo dieting and sporadic exercise before I got my diagnosis and with that, a better understanding of myself, which has helped me lose 60 pounds and manage my anxiety much better. While PCOS does not have a cure yet, I feel like I am on the right track in properly managing this condition and have already been able to help other people who struggle with this condition.

I'm not in the best shape of my life. I know this and can openly admit it. I think my peak condition was when I was like 14 and swimming 7 days a week. I had strength and endurance and speed. I had deltoid and traps and biceps and quads for days. I miss it alot. Those what ifs pour into my mind but really, it won't help anything but my anxiety monster. Right now is where I need to be, my future is what I will focus on. And I will show that punk 14 year old what peak physical condition really is!
