✨Collab with @jwebart
Every skill, every job, is trainable. No you can’t become an NFL star tomorrow, but the point is that most things are learnable. And, we can pick up those things easier than we give ourselves credit for.
Thank you @jwyoyo
For your help laying this design out in Adobe Illustrator! A joyful collab as always. 😀
4 years ago, I became a copywriter. I had no idea HOW — just some creative writing skills under my belt. But I did it anyway and had a successful career in it for the past 3 years.
I didn’t think I could create an eCommerce website. Then I sold a few hundred dollars in T shirts the following couple of months.
Here’s a tactic I use on myself: if someone were pointing a gun to my head and screamed ferociously, “BUILD A WEBSITE PROMOTING YOUR SERVICES OR I’LL KILL YOUR FAMILY NEXT MONTH.” 😄 Could I do it? The answer is always Yes, Yes, I Can. If my life depended on it, I could. So do away with your excuses. You CAN. You just don’t want to put in the time and pain and effort to get there.
That’s a thing most people get stumped on: Create a website. How do you do that?
The problem is that most people immediately think, “Oh I don’t know how to do that,” which they sadly translate to “I CAN’T do that.” But the truth is, we don’t really know how to do anything _well_ until we learn how to do it, regardless of talents we may view as innate.
Trust you have the ability to figure things out. @brendonburchard
And don’t limit your vision to your current limitations. Decide what it is that you want, and figure it out as you go. You’re so much more capable than you think. You’re so much more powerful than you believe. Put your dreams into your calendar, and chip away at them each day. And eventually, you’ll have put out so much great stuff that you’ll stand back and look at yourself and have to admit: “I did that.” Believe in your ability to evolve. 🦊✨😀
