Unisci tutti gli ingredienti, un po' di salsa di soia e il gioco è fatto!
Turns out the munchkin really likes Kosheri.. really REALLY likes it.... 😋😂 I found the recipe in @ottolenghi
; Egyptian lentils and rice... It's insanely morish and pretty straightforward to make (25mins to cook!)... Green lentils on the bottom, rice cooked in stock with nutmeg and cinnamon next, topped with fried onions.. can't go wrong! And kids love it!
Feeling all warm and fuzzy today. Loving these colors and textures.

Friday afternoon at our house, sourdough just came out of the oven (everyone bakes when it’s super hot, right..? 🙄) + fresh picked produce from the garden and a cold glass of rose to help dinner preparations along when everyone is feeling a little tired and hot. Menu tonight - BLT’s + every bit of fresh produce we have from the garden and some sort of relish from our epic cupboard selection (we may have made too much over the last year!). ~Honey~

Mexican soup with red beans and corn. Hearty and warming, just what we need when the temperature drops outside #eatsoup

Thanks, thanks, thanks,... Up to 1K!!!
Meyer lemon and fresh cranberry muffins. Poppy likes to eat raw cranberries, and Charlie likes to lick lemons. So naturally...
My first attempt at a (coconut) nearly naked cake. Not quite as neat as I would like but I can’t wait to cut into it! ✨
Simple saturdays ✨I’ve been really into baking recently (as you can tell by my recent stories) and wanting to attempt bread for a while. So this simple soda bread recipe (found through @nigelslater
Instagram) seemed like the best place to start. Totally delicious and didn’t take long at all.
Listening to music while baking and eating home made bread is going to be a new Saturday ritual I think. ✨
Curried pea soup, coconut rice, curried brown butter drizzle, sourdough naan---tonight's supper was all right. 😋#onmykitchentable #feedingafamily
I finally figured out my meal plan/grocery list for the week. We'll have chili and cornbread, sausage vegetable soup and sourdough bread or rolls, a crockpot meal from the freezer, a night of leftovers, and baked potatoes with baked beans on Friday. I've been living in the kitchen this week, hoping to free myself up a bit more this next week.😅 #mealplanfriday
My favourite muffin/cake flavour this week has been plum and dark chocolate. I’ve altered a muffin recipe I’ve been using for years given to me by Mary my mother-in-law. It’s simple, low in sugar and very flexible.
1 cup plain flour, 1 cup almond meal (you can just use 2 cups of flour if you don’t have AM), 4 tsp baking powder, 1/2 cup coconut sugar (up to 1 cup of sugar if you’re used to a sweeter taste), 90 grams melted butter (or oil of choice), 2 eggs, 60-100 grams dark chocolate pieces, 2-3 sliced plums (swap for any flavour of choice). Mix everything together in bowl, makes, 12-14 muffins. Bake 15-18 minutes in 180 degree oven.

Not one, but two haute breakfasts, because you're worth it!
I had The Japanese Popstars 'Shells of Silver' stuck in my head when I took these, which is funny because while I like the song, I really don't care for anything silver.
Already looking forward to spring with these little narcissi bulbs on the kitchen table. January is all about embracing the hygge and the little things in the everyday madness, isn't it?!
