TRY TO BE PERFECT.
Try to excel at work, manage the household duties, prioritize self-time, raise your children, manage your finances, accomplish your goals, eat perfect.
Just give it go.
Make sure that you don’t give yourself any benefit of the doubt, be really hard on yourself, strive for the fucking best - nothing else will do.
Good lord, I’m stressed just writing this.
And yet THIS IS WHAT I SEE IN MY COACHING PRACTICE.
Weight | Calorie | Macro obsession.
I see it all of the time.
I see humans who try to be everything to everyone; an inability to say NO; an enormous amount of guilt for... well, everything. Guilt for this, guilt for the that, guilt for all of it.
Bingeing on booze, shopping, sex, chips... just fucking bingeing - filling that painful void in the soul.
Yo peeps, we gotta stop this stress, it’s killin’ us. We have to let go of the need to be perfect and take a holistic approach.
Good sleep. Food quality over calories. Masturbation + sexual pleasure. Adventure. Water. Laughter. Saying NO. Boundaries. Self-care. Breathing. Self loyalty. Connection to some kind of higher power. An ability to ride the dark days.
