Ohhhh, Frank. It seems like we met so long ago, but it hasn’t even been 2 years yet. I remember how cute you looked in your overalls and red beanie... you have taught me a lot, I must say. I will forever cherish our memories of walking on rooftops and bridges, drinking wine (I think we were both drunk the first year that we knew each other), going to parks, museums, cafes, bars, cute dinners. Cuddling for 3 days straight because we’d have to take a bus to see each other every weekend (Shoutout to the Chinatown bus!). Arguing about controversial issues, and, well, everything else too because of our mutual stubbornness, but then laughing to get over it (sometimes 3 hours later, ha!). Oh, let’s not forget about all of the Asian movies with subtitles. On our first date I ordered salad and watched you eat a burger... oh, you were so mad that I was vegan at the time (ew, amirite). We spent the whole day together wondering around New York City and then at the end of the night, as I said goodnight to you and watched you disappear down the stairs to the subway, I knew I’d become obsessed with you. “He’s so cute omg stay cool Ashley, stay cool” I thought. Here’s to the guy who drinks lots of bourbon, knows too much about everything, and can’t swim. Thanks for the memories & happy birthday, sweet thang!
