VEGAS STYLE CHOCOLATE DIPPED HALF NAKED BACON. (😂😂😂, had to use it Steve!) Not really the name, but it is for tonight 🤣. I’ve been busy for the past few hours making treats and food for a baby shower that I’m hosting tomorrow (slide 3 😱) and after working with all those sweets, I started craving chocolate a bit. My solution: making the chocolate coved bacon by @keto_steve

Ok, so here’s the thing. We don’t live in a perfect world where we can make all the things we need to avoid disappear. Yeah, I wish I could drive home and not see all the donut shops, ice cream shops etc. I wish I would go to a party and that all the foods there would be keto. But it’s simply not like that. We have to learn to say no, or find alternatives. You guys ask me how I’m able to not cheat. And honestly I don’t have a solid answer. But what I can say is that I would see any sweet and it was always hard to let it slip away. When I saw the cookie, or the cupcake, my mind saw it as if it was the last one on earth, and because of that, I HAD to have it.
And I realized today that my mentality has shifted. When I see all those sweets I get tempted with, I remind myself that it’s ok to say no. That it’s not the last chocolate/cupcake/or candy on earth, and that I’m just saying no at this moment, and that someday I will allow myself to have one. Just now is not the right time ❤️.
