For your restaurant, local is the name of the game! Targeting potential customers close to your restaurant is the best thing you can do. You will save money by doing so because your ads are not going to be seen throughout the whole US but just a target area.
If you want to take it a step further, we suggest you create an Ad per town so you can really target your potential customers. They will notice that they are from that town and your ad will be very personalized to them.
Today’s Shoot! Charcuterie board is a must have here!
It all comes down to one thing, value! You must let your potential customers or your customers know about the value they will receive upon signing up. *
Most restaurants just have a pop up on their website titled sign up for our newsletter..... This doesn’t sound appealing so most likely you won’t grow your newsletter very much. •
A good example would be along the lines of...If you would like to receive discounts on your next meal, sign up to our newsletter or Sign up to our newsletter to receive your discounts and updates.
It’s very helpful to build a connection with local foodies in the area, even if they do not have a big following. •
Most Foodies just want free food but some charge. If you are going to pay a foodie, make sure, they are fit for your restaurant. •
You also want to look at their social media profile and see if they have around 10% of their followers liking pictures. •
Another thing you should look out for is their engagement! If they have no engagement, it usually means, it’s a fake account. Real foodie accounts have a big following with lots of engagement.
The short answer is absolutely! 90% of adults use emails. •
The Rail’s data shows that more than half of all restaurant email lists have more than 10,000 subscribers and the average open rate is 19.3%.
Imagine 19.3% of your customers see these emails every week, that would generate more revenue! With that being said, you are also more connected and personalized with your clients because you are just one email away!
The short answer is if you can afford it, hire a professional photographer. It’s very crucial to your digital media presence especially when your potential customer is checking your social media out before they make a decision to visit your establishment. With that being said, consumers eat with their eyes in the food industry. •
If you want to use your phone, we suggest you use the new galaxy or iPhone 8 or newer.

Little history lesson about the Elgin, and why we wanted to nod at history when coming up with the concept design for our restaurant:
___________________Elgin Botanic Garden was founded in 1801 by Dr. David Hosack, a physician, botanist, and educator, perhaps best known for serving as the doctor to Alexander Hamilton after his duel with Aaron Burr in 1804. He used his own money
to purchase and landscape the grounds, and by 1805 it was home to more than 1,500 plant species, which he studied for medicinal purposes. Unable to obtain state funding to maintain the garden as an educational resource, he sold the property to New York at a $35,000 loss (roughly l $500,000 today). In 1814, the legislature gave the land to Columbia College with the idea that the school would move there from its downtown location.

When the weather is this hot and gorgeous, it’s practically a law that you need to drink something cold and fizzy. We suggest The American - vermouth + @campariofficial
, paired with lemon, rhubarb, and vanilla flavors. Shaken and topped with soda for that extra ✨👌 Now say “Ahhhhhhh” #sipsiphooray
