When the sun rises through Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, it gives the underside of this sweeping natural structure a magical glow. The arch sits on the edge of a cliff and the views through it of the vast canyons below seem to go on forever. #trekarooing #canyonlands #findyourpark
Perfect place for an Archeologist
If given the opportunity to explore some of the PNW in an RV, I’d suggest you do it.
Wildlife Folklore: if you smell a tiger lily, it'll give you freckles!
It was already 92 degrees at 8:45 a.m. in Scottsdale as I was out taking photos of some public art. I haven’t left the comfort of air conditioning since I got to my office at 9 a.m. But at some point tonight I will walk to the parking garage and it will be an oven out there. So, instead of thinking about that, I’m think of wildflowers at Cedar Breaks, where it’s currently 65 degrees, according to The Weather Channel. .

At today’s teachback at Adams National Historical Park the Adam’s staff took sometime to recognize one of their staff, Joe Rocha, for 5 years of service with the NPS. Joe got his NPS start with Branching Out in 2010 as first a field team member and field team leader. Today he is one of the park’s maintenance staff. Congratulations, Joe! Thanks for your technical assistance this week while the field team was @adamsnps #alumni #nps

Remain flexible.... life is forever changing - It’s been a crazy bananas summer, and I’m trying to catch my breath. We’ve moved studios and had some unexpected stuff thrown in our direction... but are catching our breath, catching up, and getting back into the routine. Pic: The amazing @laney.ciaccio
Hope you’re all having a great summer!
