Oatmeal Crusted Chicken Parmesan with Zoodles!
Can you believe in my 4 years as the primary cooker I've never made chicken parmesan or even my own breaded chicken tenders?! I don't know why I didn't make this earlier, so easy! 😄And more importantly, HEALTHY! 💕 I don't count calories, I've done that in the past and it made me crazy and obsessive. So now I just make conscious decisions. It's common sense that eating one large zucchini worth of zoodles is healthier than eating a plate of pasta. That's been my mindset this whole weight journey, choose the better option! Do I eat a brownie now and then? YES! You're allowed to have treats but try to BALANCE that treat by eating a healthier meal next time. 🍎🥗🏃♀️🍓🍅🏊♀️🍌🥒🍇🥔🚴♂️🥑🍑🍉🥕💪🍑🍆 Also, I HIGHLY recommend getting a spiralizer! 🌀 you can make so many different things with it and it's SUPER FUN! .

The dreaded weigh-in! Yes, it was as awful as it sounds... and I gained 9 pounds 🤦🏼♀️ Only thing to do now is get my butt back into shape!
Discovering that I’d gained back some weight was definitely discouraging and gave me some massive “stinkin thinkin” the entire time I was working out. But I’m so glad I stuck with the workout. I started my morning off right and followed through with my 2nd day of creating a new life for myself.
It’s so much easier to skip or talk yourself out of a workout. Happy that this morning I followed through - even with my negative thoughts in the background. “Stinkin thinkin” - refers to when your inner voice is negative. (I.e. “I’m fat” “why am I so out of shape” “ everyone is watching and judging...”) *

I have not been logging my meals, but as long as I’m meal prepping, I’m doing pretty good. This is what a typical day looks like (excluding dinner). So I’m doing pretty good still...gotta work on my weekend meals better 😉 otherwise I think my trainer would be proud

I know it doesn't appear to be a lot. The scale doesn't show it. In fact is shows the opposite. Good thing I could care less about that.
I feel different!! Lighter, I feel more energized. Stronger, more in control. Some days are harder than others and at times I want to throw in the towel.
Just for today I have this. Just for today I will eat less. Just for today I will exercise. So all my just for today's will amount to something great!
Have Faith in yourself. Even if it is for one minute at a time! It's one minute longer, more than the last time. Keep pushing forward.
Have you changed bad habits to good habits?.
No one is perfect I had a few bad habits I struggled to kick. Now that I have overcame all my bad habits I couldn’t be happier or healthier.
Alcohol is a big one guys! It does a lot more damage then you think. Doesn’t mean everyone needs to stop, but drinking in moderation is very important.
It’s never too late to start if your bad habit is drinking soda try cutting some out and replacing it with water. You’ll feel the difference believe me..
As many of you know I LOVE fitness and health. I mean come on I work in a gym!! Haha. Working with people to hit their fitness goals had left very little time to concentrate on my own health and nutrition, however. I was feeling bloated, always craving a nap, barely recovering from workouts, and I was struggling to find more nutritious options without going broke or taking a ton of time out of my day to find or make.
My friend Ray (@invincibleohio
) showed me a great system and helped find a solution for my problems! In just a couple weeks my bloating is way down, my energy is way up, and I don't feel like I'm chasing sleep anymore. Also, my performance in the gym hasn’t skipped a beat! Best of all, I don't have to worry about getting my complete nutrition every day because I know it's in my cupboard AND I'm saving money (and time)! Also, I’m still eating things I love - but in a healthier way! I'm so happy with this journey so far and especially with how I’m feeling! There’s a blizzard in the city but I’m still feeling like it’s sunny and 85! I can’t wait to see where I go in this journey!
Veggie omelettes for breakfast this week! I keep the veggies I want to eat cleaned and diced so it takes very little time in the AM to whip up a yummy breakfast.
