Still working on me, just no time to post with this crazy little girl. Shes 6 months and growing fast. . I'm up to 322lbs since I had her in January. I am no longer working so I'm not burning as many calories as I used to when I was working retail. I'm still working on getting her into a routine so that i can incorporate my own workout time. . I bought my first juicer. Been trying to replace one meal a deal with an all vegetable juice. The tastes arent for me but the way i feel after is amazing. Just pure energy. GODDESSES DO WORKOUTS THAT ARE FUN. ... If you’re puking at the end of your workouts. Or crying during them. Or you’re dreading your workouts, which results in you not even doing them. Or you’re forcing yourself to run for miles and miles even though you HATE running. I grew up watching the women in my life shame their bodies, and have a look of disappointment everytime they got off the scale. . . From 18-23 I only ever got on the scale of I was at the doctor's office because I was afraid to have the same reaction. Every thing was based on WEIGHT. . . This is my last week on Prozac. I have weaned myself off of 40mg a day. I don't feel like it was working for me, so I'm going a different route. Yes you can and will get back to working out after #hypothalamicamenorrhea recovery. ## Some of the most common questions I’ve heard are: ## 1️⃣If I stop working out for a while (which I do recommend, other than very gentle movement), what if I become lazy and will never WANT to move anymore? 2️⃣Does this break mean that I can never work out anymore? 3️⃣What if I won’t be able to lose the weight that I’ve put on during the time I was recovering and didn’t work out? ## Here are my answers: 1️⃣If you’ve always loved movement, you WILL want to work out again. Most people, and definitely former over-exercisers, have a physical NEED for movement. 2️⃣No, it does not. You can do most things, but probably at lower intensity, at least for a while. You’ll have to check in with yourself constantly and progress veeeeery gradually if you want to add training intensity/volume, and slow down when your cycle gets too long again or stops altogether. 3️⃣Yes, there’s a good chance that you can’t get back to your previous bodyweight. Remember, that’s why you stopped getting your period in the first place - your weight and fat % were too low. You probably drop some body fat (it may take several years - watch my video interview with @dannyjdotcom !!) but losing all the weight you gain as a result of HA recovery isn’t likely. ## More questions about HA, recovery and training? I don’t rely on the scale much here’s why Your weight automatically fluctuates through out the day anyway, and if your like most people trying desperately to drop weight, then any movement up is only going to discourage you. Instead I recommend you taking photos instead, even top Celebrity trainers say close to the same. Please don’t judge a book by its cover either. There’s plenty of women and girls out there who struggle with the exact opposite, I used to be that woman/girl. What happened I learned that being both too skinny and a bit heavier than I should have been for my size and build, that I wasn’t happy or confident in “me” At the end of the day what matters is “you did your best to take care of you” Be Blessed! 😀

You know, the hardest (not necessarily hard, but scary) thing about sharing your journey for 31 days publicly is fear of what others think... 1. What if I don’t make it beyond 3 days. NO MORE FOOD STRESS 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️ ... I used to roll around with my massive lunch cooler with all my meals weighed out and perfectly portioned to fit my macros. The same meals I had been eating for the past month that I was borderline obsessed about prepping every Sunday. I would eat anything that was outside my macros and even set timers on my phone for when I needed to eat. If everything wasn’t planned and perfected, I would stress the F out. ... Fast forward to days like today. Where I’m gone for the entire day. I start the day off at church then Disney for most of the day and finish my day full of adventure with a couple hours of salsa dancing. Packing my meals and eating every three hours is the last thing that’s in my mind. 😂 ... Now even though I’m not stressing about food doesn’t mean I’m not eating or not listening to my body and fueling it nourishing foods. I roughly track my macros if I feel the need but I also intuitively eat and set myself up for success and a day full of fun and food freedom while doing the things I love by.... ... 1. Decide that my intention for the day is one full of fun and that I give myself permission to not worry about food. 2. Eat a big meal to start your day off that’s full if nourishing filling foods. Usually higher in protein because on busy days I know I struggle with hitting my protein, and also higher in fat because it will keep me full longer. 3. Pack 2-3 filling snacks for the day. My go-to is apples and protein bars! 4. Make the best choice that you can when eating out! I’ve got tabs on the most macro friendly food pretty much wherever I go. But some days if I just want some pizza or girl cheese and tomato soup, I give myself permission to enjoy the crap out of it 😋 5. Give yourself permission to indulge. Food is fun. Those people that say food is not fuel aren’t really my people lolz. What’s the ONE food that you think you have to give up forever in order to reach your Goddess Body Goals? 🤔 ... Macaroons? Froyo? Treats in general? Anything that has sugar? ... I’d previously lost quite a bit of weight by eliminating ALL sugar. Even fruit. (I know. What the heck Nat!) And though I loved the way I looked, I had NO idea how the rest of my life looked without any sugar. That physical reward for losing weight only lasted so long until I realized that I couldn’t go through another birthday party or froyo date with my besties and NOT have the things I really did love and enjoy to eat, ESPECIALLY surrounded by the people I loved.😭 ... As a thing to keep in mind, if ANYONE EVER tells you to eliminate an entire category of food from your diet like sugar, or carbs, or fat... RUN. But first give them a hug cuz it sucks to never have dessert and because they’re probably not going to be very successful with that lifestyle choice long term. 😂 ... My Goddesses know all to well that restriction is the quickest way to lots of ups and downs and NO SUSTAINABILITY and so many times, food is something to celebrate and bring you together with the people you love, and something that feeds your body and nourishes your desires and your soul. ... Ok so I was starting to beat myself up mentally, due to the fact I had gained 10lbs in a month! I work out 5-6 days a week and I work very hard to fill my micros. However despite all that I still gained weight! WFT! I struggle with the number on the scale even though I know better and try very hard to not let it control me. This morning while getting dressed I remembered that my leggings are a size small! Honestly I probably should be in an extra small these ones get lose after an hour or so. When I started my fitness journey year back I was 216lbs and wearing an xl or xxl leggings. So it hit me even though the number on the scale is in the 190s I’m wearing smaller clothes then I have ever worn. Things fit different because my body is different I have curves I didn’t have before and I have a butt, my arms are bigger but that’s because I have muscle I didn’t have. So I’m going to take that for a WIN and run with it ! I most likely will never be “thin” my body isn’t made to be. It didn't quite happen how I had hoped it would, but it seems I am now at my goal weight for @viella11 's wedding next week-end. You see, a few weeks ago I had some sort of mental breakdown, during which I did not eat or sleep. I am in no way promoting not eating, but it would seem that the little bit of intermittent fasting I (unintentionally) did helped to restart my weight loss (I had hit a plateau for years). I do not recommend intermittent fasting for those with blood sugar related issues, but I do recommend doing some research on it if you are interested. Lots of info out there so make sure your sources are valid! One last point....it is not worth obsessing over a # on the scale (I did this for many years). It means nothing in the end as you may be gaining muscle and losing fat. Aim to include some form of strength training in your workouts (not just cardio). #noscale

You can wait forever for the right time and it will never come. You saying you are busy doesn’t just magically make you not being unhealthy OKAY. Trust me, because I learned that the hard way. I used to do that all the time. I would say next week, then next week truly never came. Next month never even came. Something always came up mentally, and financially. You will always have a reason to put yourself on the back burner. Unfortunately, you are the ONLY person who can change that too. 
It took me seeing another mom in the same situation as me show up for me to decide to commit to something that would actually work rather than a quick fix. I get asked how I do it all the time. There is no simple answer except my groups. They truly keep me going and have since day one. If you jump in and just push play then you’ll see changes and want to keep showing up. Prep week for our next group starts Monday and they are my favorite. It gives me a chance to really focus on my clients who are wanting to PUSH themselves in this journey. I had good intentions when I made the decision to lose weight. I wanted to 'be healthy' and prove to everyone that I was capable of being in a small body. Those good intentions quickly turned into an obsession with food, the scale, exercise & it also lead to an eating disorder. I was in such a bad head space. I feared gaining weight. I feared that people would think I was a failure. I feared food. I woke up every morning wondering how much I weighed, and weighing myself several times a week. I was so ashamed of my thoughts and behavior that not even my wife knew what was going on.
