So we went a little off script compared to what I should have done today 🤪after all, this was my last session in this gym before heading home quickly prior to the US. 🇺🇸it should have been 130,150,165 for 6. But despite not feeling 100% physically and mentally, I wanted to have one final productive session before heading home on Friday.
Next week is meant to be 175 for 4 as a top set, so I technically got what I should have got for 170 this week; 5 reps 👌🎉 Form broke down notably for the final set; fatigue from the last few weeks, erratic sleep, longer working hours and a lack of calories all caught up with me on this set, as well as the option to jump 20kg for my second set set up a physical fatigue barrier for the final set.
Nonetheless, the speed was good. Knee valgus was there, but we were able to stick it out through the slow point and lock out pretty well. The final 2 sets sucked at the top though 😅🤪 Be at 77kg.
