Autumn is almost behind us ... Slowly, slowly, the days have shortened, the nights lengthened and the temperatures dropped. Not all parts of Aus experience the change of season in its classic sense of defined seasons, but here in the south east of the continent, the subtle hues and cues of winter are upon us. . . . I had a fantastic trip out west of NSW, with starry night skies and brilliant blue daytime skies. I caught a cold though, and have laid low this past week which has done its job and now I’m ready to tackle Vivid in Sydney tonight. Now in its 10th year, I still remember the first 2-3 years of this festival of light when only Macquarie Street and the Opera House were lit ... Vivid has come along way since then. . . . #autumn #autumnleaves #bluemountains #abcmyphoto #newsouthwales #visitbluemountains #shotoniphone #iphonex
Working. Promise! #unbreakingthegirl
Blue mountains. Some serious landscape.
After a lazy Saturday morning, I’m about to take my laptop to my fave local cafe, drink all the coffee and do a bit of work. I know it’s the weekend, but I’ve got so many ideas buzzing around in my head, I want to get them all out and into some sort of order. Plus I like sitting in cafes on my own, it’s one of my favourite things to do. I’m sure I’m not the only one? Photo from a previous lazy weekend morning at @berrysourdoughcafe in Berry. Did I mention that I’m really looking forward to coffee?
Does it get any better than this? 😍 We say NOPE 🍸 We’ll take an espresso martini and a Sydney sunset any day of the week. Thanks for the inspo @foodfeels_sydney 👌⠀
Last year, Pinterest launched a new feature that allows brands to upload and schedule their promoted pins in bulk. This means your Pinterest ads are opened up to a wider audience and allows you to reach consumers on the basis of keywords; Facebook ads don’t have this particular feature. With Pinterest ads some of the things you should pay attention to include: Use CTAs (calls to actions) in your descriptions- this can significantly improve the conversion rates on all your promoted pins. Prioritise keyword targeting- For every promoted pin, you are permitted to use up to 150 keywords. You can start off using 5-10 main keywords then expand the count from there. . . . #pinterest #pinterestads #promotedpins #pinterestmarketing #marketingtips #digitalmarketing #brandingtips #brandingagency #customer #customerservice #onlinemarketing #marketingonline #digitalmarketing #marketingtools #marketingideas #marketingexpert #emails #emailsuccess #business #businessideas #entrepreneurs #entrepreneurship #startup #startups #newsouthwales #sydneybusiness #sydney http://ow.ly/pVJc30jrTAA
Train travel, rail speed from Sydney, 40km per hour to the Blue Mountains . Vs. High Speed rail 308km per hour in Shanghai to Hangzhou. Both are good for me. Good to slow down and not always be in the fast lane. Good to breathe fresh mountain air after extensive travel on planes, cars and HSR #travel #bluemountains #nsw #newsouthwales #australia #ilovebluemountains #train #destination #ilovensw #mindfulness #weekend #break #visit #businesswoman #slow #relax #breathe #lifejourney #love #gratitude #thankful @dr_caroline_hong

@freedom_faction - Thoughts? The #Adelaide archbishop #PhilipWilson has been found guilty of concealing #childsexualabuse during the 1970s in the Hunter region of #NewSouthWales .The magistrate Robert Stone handed down the verdict in Newcastle local court on Tuesday after a magistrate-only trial. Wilson faces a maximum two years in prison. The prosecutor, Gareth Harrison, told the court the 67-year-old had to be jailed for what he had done to deter others from trying to protect the #Catholicchurch from abuse allegations. The clergyman is the most senior Catholic official in the world to be charged and convicted of the offence. In a brief statement, Wilson said he would consider the reasons for the magistrate’s ruling. “I am obviously disappointed at the decision published today,” he said. “I will now have to consider the reasons and consult closely with my lawyers to determine the next steps.” Wilson was accused of covering up the abuse of four boys by the paedophile priest James Fletcher during the 1970s. A former NSW police detective chief inspector, Peter Fox, who had previously alleged that the church covered up Fletcher’s offending, said he was “delighted” by the court’s decision because someone within the church was being held to account. “It’s a major turning point,” he said. “It’s been very difficult for so many of these witnesses; I can’t tell you how difficult it’s been. I am confident this will make waves in #theVatican .” The former police officer, who was with the abuse survivors and their families when the verdict was handed down, said: “Their stomachs have been churning.” Fox said the abuse of one survivor could have been entirely prevented had Wilson taken action when he was told of Fletcher’s abuse of then altar boy Peter Creigh, who gave evidence at the trial. Outside court, Creigh told reporters that the magistrate’s decision gave him “a huge sense of relief” on a “very significant day for all victims and their families”. He said he hoped the decision would “unravel the hypocrisy, deceit and abuse of power and trust” displayed by the Catholic church. 🖐🏾More in comments👇🏾#PedoGate

So, I was interviewed by ABC radio the other day, 📻 (it was a pre recording so you can’t listen to it until June) and the announcer was asking me about the Travel Bootcamp and how specifically you can do a photography Bootcamp. 😂😂 The history of the name is actually a cool story because Georgia and Liz (business partners = travel writer + travel blogger) hadn’t met each other at that point but we needed a name so we could start writing content for the website. We had already decided during an intense Skype call that our event would be the most generous in the industry with nothing held back, no question unanswered, take home course notes and a full day program. So we needed a name that basically summed up getting smashed with information. Lol. Bootcamp it was. We decided to include Travel because that’s the industry that binds the three of us together but we know that the event is also suitable to any photographer or writer looking for ways to monetize their creativity. I’d even call it a motivational event. For those that don’t know, the Bootcamp is an intensive one day course that teaches you how to make money with a blog, a pen, a camera and an Instagram account. Our next event is on June 30th on the Gold Coast, link in bio to buy tickets. @thetravelbootcamp . . . . . #nsw #seeaustralia #newsouthwales #mountwollumbin #mountwarning #sunset #thetravelbootcamp
