Three Passes Trek Day 13: An extremely underrated side trek next to Everest Base Camp is the sunrise trek up Kala Patthar mountain. We woke up at 3:30am to start the uphill to 5550m, and were rewarded with 360 degree views of mountains including Mt. Everest, Nupse, Pumo Ri (pictured here), and Lobuche
Trek to Everest: As we cleared the tree line around 3,500m we were graced with our first views of towering Everest itself
Trek to Everest: Our first days were spent crossing terrifying bridges across glacial rivers as we hiked through lush green forests to the first stunning vistas of the snow capped peaks ⛰
• Never lose your childlike fascination with the wonders of our world •
Mornings are getting colder and the views even more spectacular ❄❄❄
Grateful for unexpected reunions at 5000m, and company on sketchy pass crossings in the shape of a badass Australian family and a pair of crampons

🇬🇧 Even the smallest things put a smile on the face of our kids!
Ice Lake ❄❄❄ After a long hike which passed through a small village, unstable dry terrain and then snow, the lake itself is pretty anticlimactic, it's more like a large pond, but you do have astonishing views over Annapurna IV once there 🗻 This was one of the toughest treks I've ever done due to the altitude, turns out you can't breathe that well going from 3,500 to 4,600 metres in four steep, long uphill sections. But hey, it was a fab way to spend a morning! Plus a mountain dog accompanied me on the way back to town #smallwins
hiking down from the Icelake. Planned only as an acclimatization hike, the hike up to the icelake near Manang was one of the best days of the Annapurna Circuit. Breathtaking views at the Annapurna Massif, eg the Annapurna II (7.937m) in the front. Nepal, 2018.
Everest Base Camp/Three Passes Trek Day 12: A quick 1 hour walk from Gorak Shep leads to Everest Base Camp, pictured here on the left next to Khumbu Glacier. About half of the 50+ groups summiting Everest this climbing season had already completed their summit!
Rest day bliss in Manang 🌌 After hiking to Ice Lake this morning, a sunset rooftop yoga session was one of life's main requirements #bendandsnap #burntface
Surrounded by nature, on the hunt for new adventures 💚 Nepal is exceeding all my expectations! 🙋🌌🌏
