RANDOM ASS RECIPE ALERTTTTT. I cannot stop baking with rye lately. Made some weird ass 60ish% rye cast iron focaccia the other day and now I'm hooked. Threw this together on a whim and it turned out so good I thought I'd share!!
Preheat your oven to 375
Combine the wet in one bowl:
3 very very very ripe, small nanaz
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t vanilla
1 c water
1/2 c melted unrefined coconut oil (extra buttery taste yum)
In another bowl mix:
1 c Rye Flour
1/2 c Oats
1 T baking powder
1 t cinnamon
2 t Sumac
1/2 t cardamom
1/2 t salt
Add one the dry to da wet, mix until combined
2 T cacao nibs
Or some nuts. Everyone loves nuts . .
Sprinkle a little more sugar on top and then I’m obsessed with smoked salt right now so I did that too because fuck it. ..
Throw in greased cake pan or preferably a sexy @lodgecastiron

Bake longer for a loaf shape, until a toothpick comes out clean.

Fried artichoke hearts with lemon aioli and parmesan...so delicious.I was so surprised at the quality of food coming from the kitchen. I honestly thought it would be “ bar food” but it is soooo far beyond that. Seriously a wonderful spot to hang out with friends or go on a date. Best cocktail lounge Ive tried in town so far...

These meatballs are to die for !! They remind me of a very high end Swedish meatball with a sweet tangy glaze served , creamy creme fraiche with toasted brioche. The meatballs itself had such a wonderful fennel flavor that married gorgeously with the set. Dieing to recreate them.
