So Friday and Saturday I definitely went over my calories because of a hen night away ♀️. Back on track today though with my eggs and avocado on toast 🥑🍳. I'm also going to reduce my calories on my non workout days this week (today, Monday and Wednesday) because I really want to hit my 3 stone total loss on Friday 🤞

This is one of my favorite mottos in life. Some of the best things in life have to be worked for, and it doesn't always go smoothly or easily. I also look to this every time I get discouraged when it comes to my #diet
I have to remind myself that I didn't lose 60 lbs in a day, a week, or even 6 months. It didn't happen with me lying on the couch watching Netflix and habitually chowing down on whatever snack happened to be near me at the time.
I had to get up and sweat. I had to make healthier choices in life and learn to portion out my food. I had to learn to cook in a healthy way (which growing up in Louisiana proved to not help me at all in that aspect). I had to learn to suck it up and find a way to exercise that I would enjoy. You read that right. Exercise that I enjoy. You don't have to slave away at the gym doing boring stuff. I learned that I love learning dance choreography. Especially #kpop
choreography! (Which considering I've been a K-pop fan for 10 years now, that really wasn't too much of a surprise.) It is fun and keeps me active even when I really do not want to be. So, go out and find something you'll love.
My journey has been great. I have learned a lot over the last 380 days since I started, but this is only the beginning. I still have more goals to reach.
I hope this post at least helps to inspire you to take your own journey to better yourself in any way you want.

Sorry für die schlechte Quali 😅 Gestern waren wir zum Geburtstag meiner Freundin in einer Trattoria essen und ich habe mir Rote Tortellini gefüllt mit Schafskäse in Butter bestellt 😋 Hab das Gefühl, dass ich krank werde, deswegen muss ich nachher gucken, ob ich noch ins Gym kann. Possibly one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever been in 🇨🇦🏔 To have the freedom to travel, connect, integrate and work from anywhere in the world is a dream come true yes, but not one I take lightly....travelling all day today means I’ve likely 16 hours of Skype calls I need to fit into tomorrow as well as overseeing a few hundred clients on other programs. Is this work? I don’t see it as work, I see it as been given a gift and a desire to help and educate and inspire as many people while I am on this planet as I can AND my social media is just the vehicle for me to reach these people and change as many lives as possible! To be honest, the day I start seeing it as work is the day I will walk away from this ❤️

It's almost 1am and I'm fighting the urge to binge. I already ate teter tots with ranch. And I feel overly full. But still I just want to eat. So I'm chugging some water and going to try and fall asleep. If it weren't for this it would have been a good day. I feel disappointed with myself. I have got to do better tomorrow.

though!! I’m human - I eat stuff that’s not macro friendly, packed with fibre, and nutrients all the time. To be honest, that’s what keeps me going. You can’t be perfect 100% of the time. So yes, did I enjoy my chicken and waffles, Gyozas, drinks, and donuts today - YUS, yus I did. 😌😍🤪 I tagged some of the people that I follow who promote this kind of eating/living/balance - I’ve learned to see food in a different way because of them, so thank you! As promised, here is Tip #1
- Prioritize Proper Nutrition🥗
This was one of the biggest game changers for me. I never achieved the ideal results I wanted to in the gym despite how intensely I worked. I finally decided to start doing some research on proper nutrition. I picked a nutrition plan (not a diet) that worked for me--this meant eating "whole foods" but also being flexible.
It was difficult at first, figuring out my macros, portioning my meals, weighing food. However, I only had to go through that struggle for a week or two, from there you learn enough to eyeball your portions and know what is right for your body type. I found a really helpful youtube video by @aesthetic_strength
which really helped me understand calculating macros.
I began tracking my food in @MyFitnessPal
which visually showed me I was on track with my macros and kept me motivated throughout the day. Using the app was not a daunting process, it was quick, easy, and effective. I realized I was actually eating a lot less than I should be! Eating more, but eating properly, actually aided in my weight loss! I went from eating a couple times a day to 6! This included my three bigger meals and a small protein rich snack between each. TIP- track meals prior to eating so that you know you are hitting your goals/don't make the mistake of overeating on such things as fats.
I stuck to lean meats like turkey and chicken or seafood such as shrimp that were also high in protein. And I finally started eating my daily GREENS! Most importantly, stay hydrated! I was barely drinking water in the past compared to what my body should be getting. This also made a huge difference in minimizing my snacking. A lot of times when you think you are hungry, your body is actually asking you for water. Drink a glass of water before reaching for the munchies and see how you feel!
Remember, striving for a skinnier physique will mean taking in fewer calories than you exert during physical exercise.
