The Mt Baker Wilderness is one of my true ‘happy places.’ For me, this area represents personal freedom. My soul loves wandering solo through the rocky landscape, soaking in the smells of nature and wrapping myself in that beautiful sound of silence that can only be achieved in the mountains.

Climbers on the Easton Glacier high above the surrounds on a beautiful morning last weekend, with Glacier Peak beyond. I’ve always loved this feeling of being above everything on one volcano and looking at yet another. How lucky we are to live in this amazing mountain playground. Here’s to this weekend’s adventures, wherever they take you! #mountaineering #climbers #mtbaker @mtbakerexp

I’m prepping to head on one of my favorite annual trips, so as I say goodbye to Washington for a bit, I’ll leave you with this misty sunrise over Elliot Creek 😊

The best thing about going to the mountains is the people you go with - cliche maybe, but so true. This past weekend I had the pleasure and good fortune of sharing the alpine experience with two amazing people, my neighbors Danny and @kelsey___sweet
, who knocked out their second Cascade volcano like it was nothing. #cascades #mtbaker #mountaineering @mtbakerexp
Even Marcus gets a case of the Mondays every once in a while (it's hard work being a marmot tbh), but what's a better cure than adorable animal photos?! He knew someone might need it so he let me take this picture of him; he's such a sport that Marcus! 😍 Happy Monday ya'll! ✌🐹🌱 💖
Otter Falls hike on a drizzly day. Incredible falls and lots of greenery and fun river crossings. A bridge we crossed had a cool 1988 etching, the year I was born. April 2018.
Teeny people by the Big Four ice caves.
