В своей практике мне приходиться часто видеть, 🙈как ученики запрокидывают голову назад или вытягивают шею вперёд или зажимают в плечи, как будто 🐢прячутся от кого то...
Но в этой иронии есть доля горькой правды. Потому что, как правило, слабость мышц шеи приводит к различным неприятным последствиям, ухудшает показатели здоровья и самочувствия.
Быть здоровыми и счастливыми - это наша главная потребность. Те, кто прошёл путь "волшебных таблеток" и чудо средств, прекрасно знает, что только он сам своими ежедневными действиями может помочь себе.
Не откладывайте в долгий ящик работу над своим здоровьем!
Предлагаю начать прямо сейчас с простого, но очень эффективного 👍упражнения.
. ✅Упражнение на укрепление и вытяжение мышц шеи.
1. Лёжа на спине, направьте пальцы ног на себя. Слегка напрягая мышцы живота, прижмите поясницу к полу. Выровните голову, руками приподняв затылок. Подборок направлен к груди. Раскройте плечи и грудную клетку. Прижмите к полу лопатки, слегка напрягите руки, вытянув их вдоль тела.
2. На вдохе поднимите голову, напрягаю мышцы шеи, положение головы статичное, подбородок прижат к груди.
3. На выдохе расслабьте голову, опустив ее на коврик.
4. Повторите упражнение 10 раз. 5 раз - подъёмы вверх, 5 раз - расслабление.
5. Далее расслабленную голову перекатывайте вправо-влево, касаясь пола каждым ухом. Перекаты медленные, плавные. Повторите 5 раз. .

FEELING SAD|| that I’m continually seeing women posting workouts “designed to make you toned but not bulky” and encouraging women to stay away from weights, particularly heavy ones
How have we still not learned that women don’t have the hormones required to create “bulk”? Do we still not understand that the whole concept of “muscle tone” is having muscle mass that is visible under limited amounts of fat mass? And that the most effective way to build muscle mass is to place it under stress, i.e. using weights! Have we still not learned that weight training actually burns fat?!
Ladies please please please don’t be afraid of weight training! Don’t be afraid to build muscle! Don’t be afraid to be STRONG! You will still be beautiful and feminine 💜

MIND-BODY CONNECTION ✨As Buddha once said, “rule your mind or it will rule you”. This could not be more true of a statement. The correlation between physical and emotional wellbeing is so real and extremely powerful! It’s so easy to become absorbed in your own thoughts/worries/stress in today’s fast paced world. However, what we often forget is that stress and worry manifest physically too! This week try and make an effort to not dwell on negative thoughts, rather, as they appear, replace them with more positive ones. It’s hard, but with patience and practice, it will happen a lot more easily. Remember too, when we think positive thoughts, the body is able to make health transformations more easily. Overwhelmed? You better believe it. I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t admit it. Between building my yoga business (any teachers out there know it’s WAY more than just showing up to teach), working my day job, daily tasks (the usual-house cleaning, laundry, doggie, and other adult-like responsibilities), wife, daughter, friend, maintaining a self-care routine and I’m sure if I had more time I could think of a thousand other things that demand my attention—I just want to nap!
This week, thoughts started to creep in (they still are), that I’m not where I should be with my business, I need to accomplish so much more at work, and I’m judging myself that I’m failing at being a friend, wife, daughter, co-worker...I think you get the idea.
That made the feeling of being overwhelmed start to feel like a mountain...like I will never reach the summit.
But you know what?? NO! Screw that! I’m not those things! You know that summit? I realized, I won’t ever reach it, but it’s not because I’m not worthy, it’s because I AM. I AM all the things I dream about, pray about, visualize about. I won’t reach the summit because with each milestone I’m making my mountain taller, mind stronger, empire grander than I could ever imagine. So my conclusion? I AM because of the great I AM and you are too! Let’s not give up together, we will rise! ⛰

I feel like this happens to often.
I put the power in other peoples hands on how I should act. Rather than being myself, I choose to be the person I think "they" want me to be. But isn't that a betrayal to myself? Why should other peoples perception of me dictate the self-image that I am projecting?
For some reason, social influences have an impact on how I act, but I'm working on it. In the end, do I really want to be around people who don't like me for who I am? Be true to yourself and don't let others decide how you should act and what type of person you should be.
There should only be one person, and that's YOU. Don't be influenced by others ideas of who you are and just be yourself. In the end, we are all a little weird, quirky and a mess at times in our own way. But it's not until you come to terms with that, can you really be your true self.
There will always be people who judge you, think you're different or don't like you - but that is OK! You are not the perfect being that everyone must love and enjoy, nobody is. I'm sure the Dalai Lama has ticked some people off in his 82 years of existence (yes I looked that up).
Set yourself free of constraints, and create your self-image by just being you!

THE BATTLE OF THE HEAVYWEIGHTS! 💥
Many baked goods and packaged snacks such as cakes, cookies, pastries and fried fast foods contain hydrogenated oils or have been fried in partially hydrogenated oils.
Hydrogenated oils are formed when liquid vegetable oils are processed to increase shelf life and transform it into soils fats. Sounds delicious, but the downside is that it increases LDL (bad) cholesterol while decreasing HDL (good) cholesterol.
LDL cholesterol is the bad cholesterol because it contributes to cardiovascular diseases due to plaque build up in the arteries.
Not all fats are evil. Healthy fats such as monounsaturated, polyunsaturated fats and omega-3s are found in high fat foods such as salmon, avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, coconut oil etc.
These fatty acids have tremendous amount of benefits from maintaining healthy weight to improving brain function to increasing HDL (good) cholesterol.
HDL cholesterol removes the bad cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease.
You can be the judge and choose wisely.

Just a little rant. Many peoples lives change after they have been to see a healer, usually by an energy shift, so that means that in most cases that persons life changes ie: finishing toxic relationships, changing jobs or even a healthier eating plan, falling pregnant after years of infertility...lots and lots of different ways. The person may not even realise that the changes happened after their healing BUT please if you do know this can you start talking about and praising your healer. This isn’t about ego, this is about making our business legitimate.. l feel people keep it quiet if they have been to a healer afraid of ridicule but if more people spoke up, imagine all the others that would get amazing help. So l would love to see when you are giving praise to all the people that have helped change your life that your healer is mentioned as well. PLEASE take us out of the closet ❤️🙏🏻 - Jan
