One of the most best things I’ve realized with my personal fitness journey is seeing how reaching my physical goals have directly tied into other areas of my life in a good way! 🙌🏻
I am more effective at my job. I handle overall stress levels better. I am a better friend. I have better follow through on commitments. My energy levels are better. I smile more and I’m happier. Personally I think the discipline I worked extremely hard to instill this past year paid off in more ways than I imagined. I’ve enjoyed this process so much I now have new goals. 😊
If you’re just getting started don’t give up or sell yourself short. Don’t look at things from a short timeline suspense, but more of a longer journey where messing up along the way is ok! In the end if you make fitness a lifestyle it’s more about progress rather than perfection. You’ll learn valuable lessons along the way no matter what if you stay the course?
Many of you have followed my journey for a while now and have seen what a difference a year can make. I initially had a goal of losing 15 pounds, but I ended up enjoying the process so much I lost 20 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve now experienced a lifetime 80 pound weight loss. 🙌🏻 You’re always just one workout or meal away from getting back on track. Make your vision for yourself more than just the physical. As you experience different types of changes big or small, you’ll want to keep going! What drives me today is I love the woman I’ve become by holding myself to a higher standard. Simply put my week has been ROUGH! Just remember if you’re reading this don’t be afraid to ask for help it doesn’t show you’re weak, it shows you’re strong! I had to quit and give up one day this week because my body couldn’t take it but I got back in the gym the next day and I KILLED IT!
