So many women with migraine feel guilty and being a mom can compound that. But why we do we feel guilty? What is it we have done? People with other health issues don’t feel guilty for being unwell. We don’t chose to have our days interrupted by vertigo, nausea, vomiting, photophobia, excruciating pain and all the other things that come with a #migraine
attack. We do our best. Being a mom comes with enough guilt and unrealistic expectations without adding #chronicillness
. So, let’s all take that ball & chain off. Instead of beating ourselves up for what we “should” do, let’s appreciate what we can do and have accomplished. Do your kids have a safe, loving home, enough to eat, clothes to wear, and someone who supports them physically and emotionally? Then you’re doing a good job. .
