So, picture on the left was yesterday & the right was back in November. I mean yeah okay my physique has changed a bit, but this #transformationtuesday
is more about mental gains than physical.
for my rants, & here comes another one 💁🏻♀️ The past year has been a major year of growth for me, and a big part of it has been getting my confidence and my groove back. Even this past month alone has been a huge learning process.
Surprisingly, the biggest thing that has helped me to start building up my confidence is to come to terms with my flaws and mistakes. I'm the kind of person that will try to put on a good face and act like everything is perfect and fine and dandy, but life isn't perfect. I'm not perfect. And that's okay.
There is strength in understanding your weaknesses and being able to admit that you have some growing to do and that you have made mistakes. It's okay to be real and vulnerable and raw and honest not only with other people but with yourself. Here's to keeping it 💯😉

I am in one of those moments, where I feel a bit split . My mind not allowing me to focus and get everything back to what is normal. A bit of split mind I feel.
So after spending pretty much all of last year umming and ahhing about where I wanted to go next and how I wanted to expand on my knowledge and skills to help my clients (all the time knowing exactly what I wanted to do but chickened out each time the opportunity presented itself)
This year (actually really really soon) I will be completing my mindfulness and meditation coach training!! And hopefully doing life coaching and yoga later in the year.
I can not tell you how excited I am to be able to add to ways in which I can help my clients tackle their mental health and wellbeing.

I snoozed that alarm this morning so many times. I even thought about quitting this entire program. 🙈Because wouldn’t that just be easier? To just wait for a better time?
But waiting for the world to slow down around me only ever slowed me down more. And I waited tooooo damn long to just skip another Monday in my life.
So I showed up for myself. TODAY.

I can remember when I would turn to food to be my comfort.
It was what calmed me down. It’s what I craved.
Not for the stress to be gone. Honestly I didn’t even think about that.
I just wanted to eat.
I would spend $15 on Taco Bell for myself.
Some of you may do that now, when your drunk 🤣
But I did it when I didn’t want to cope
When I was sad. Or angry. Or heck, even when I wanted to celebrate things.
Today was rough. Actually the last few days have been ROUGH.
And I can feel myself wanting food. Wanting to sit on the couch and revert back to my old ways.
But tonight I went to the gym. Alone.
And I did my lift. And abs. And then I just got on the bike.
And I rode.
For 13 miles.
And then I went in the private room. I stretched. I took a deep breath. And I prayed.
I will never claim to be the most religious person. But in these moments of weakness and stress and TESTS I have to believe there is a bigger plan. There is something coming that all of this will make me better for. There’s a light. So I prayed for strength. I prayed to be heard and guided. And I prayed for a sign. Something telling me what I’m doing is good and what will come is great.
Sometimes.....that’s all you need. its the little things that add up,
its the simple act of knowing where you want to end up and making small choices
over and over to move you towards that goal.
its not saying “oh, just this one time ill slip up”
its not hitting that snooze alarm
its not moving thorough the motions
its waking up with a vengeance
every single day
and realizing that once you hit that snooze alarm,
you already started your day off with not doing what you set out to do,
its realizing the sure maybe its “just this once”
but that “just once” can easily turn into piles,
its attacking every second of your life like it is all you have.
thats how you take the power you were given
to change your own life,
thats how you become whatever you want to be,
you make a habit of doing the small things right.

) SO stop stressing !!!!!! Missing the gym for a couple days or weeks isn’t going to kill you, I promise.
