Vermont is my happy place✨🌿 Wearing my @peppermintmagazine
jumpsuit in the most comfy blue chambray, perfect for these warm summer days! I’m having so much fun getting back into making clothing for myself 😊
Sewing post. Knotted @truebias #ogdencami
in an Art Gallery rayon print and the #emersoncroppants
in linen/rayon blend, both from fabric.com. Love these pants so much I made a pair of shorts too
My newest sew: the #louboxdress1
in an Arroyo Essex print cotton/linen blend. This dress came together super quickly so I don’t even mind that it’s a little short (I wore it with leggings and it was perfecto). But a note to any tall ladies out there - and to myself for my next one - add a few inches to the length! I’ll also be making a knit version for my second I think; time to try out my serger!

The new Neve top by @rebeccajpage
! You can wear it "closed" but I prefer it "open"!
I’ve been using my vintage Simplicity 40s sewingpattern to create fancy T-shirt’s in order to add some low key glamour to my wardrobe and play with some hand embroidery patterns as well! My favorite details about this pattern are the covered buttons on the shoulder seam that give it textural interest while keeping it minimal! The best part about this pattern is that it takes approximately 2 hours from cut to finish and uses a little more than a 1.5 yards of fabric! It doesn’t get better than that and the pattern is available in the etsystore! Don’t forget to tag and show me your interpretations of our vintage patterns!
Two pairs of PJ shorts hacked from this month’s #sewmystyle2018
challenge pattern @blankslatepatterns #forsythetrousers
. I raided my stash for two cottons in ‘how would I ever wear this out of the house’ prints and now have jazzy shorts perfect for sleeping in this summer👌
Over the half way mark and now onto the sixth block of Rachel and Sarah Roxburgh’s glorious garden of flitting butterflies and flourishing flowers. This month, with the help of wonderful Tilda fabrics, we add petals, stars, triangles and some more perennially beautiful blooms. Happy stitching Block of the Monthers.

Casual, weighty, hand torn linen blend ruffles, the newest beauties to hit the Etsy shop this Sunday, 12 noon.
My first pair of wrap front shorts! I absolutely love the cat pattern, but I made them a size too small for me 😭whoops, so they’re up for grabs. The waist is about 28” and the length is 16.5”. Please dm me if you’re interested. ❤️
I’m coming back from a full week of good southern food, clean air, and Americana history..... And I still fit into all of my clothes- I think I did something wrong... #imnotdoneineedmorebarbecue
Many months ago I almost finished some high waisted #gingerjeans
. Like, down to only having the waistband left finished. Then I found out I was pregnant and high waisted pants were not so appealing anymore! I mourned the loss of my beautifully sewn fly front and pockets, then ripped the top apart to Frankenstein in a belly band. Overall I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! Swipe to see how I added in some extra stretch to the front and sides.
Another pair of @oliverands
Sunny Day Shorts made today, this time for the girl child! I'm really loving this pattern. This fabric is so super pretty, I'm hoping that I have enough to make her a matching top for a really sweet pair of pyjamas 😊

Too many coins, and nowhere to put them other than loose in my pockets... now that’s going to be fixed!
I’ve been feeling really unproductive lately with my days off, so today I made myself a list to work through.
After writing and picking up, I’m using leftover fabric from a decorating project to make a coin purse. What’s left now is hiding the raw edges and making some through-holes for a drawstring close.
I sewed a lot as a kid, and out of necessity (fixing up my pants, projects like this) I’m picking it up again! I might try a shirt before the summer’s out... _________________•_________________
What’s a childhood hobby you’ve kept, or would like to pick up again?
Wacky Wednesday! This is the waterfall swimsuit pattern! @ellieandmac_patterns
Its a great pattern to do your first swimsuit! I am so happy with how it turned out and my bottoms, omg, never want to take them off! Also the pattern is only a dollar today so why not get it! It’s so worth it with all this hot weather. 👙😍💚
