Burnout. Have you felt this? . . I know I have. I experienced this 2 years into my own health and fitness journey. . Why? . Because I restricted myself waaaayyyy too much. I did not allow myself to be in a healthy lifestyle. I lived an extremely restricted, guilty, binge eating, forceful, overworked lifestyle for 2 years!!! . Which did what for me? . I’ll tell ya it wasn’t anything good. Did I drop body fat? Yes but no different than I do now. My mindset on being healthy suuuuuucked. Which in turn caused me to do the complete opposite for a whole year because I was loosing my mind. I was burnt out on my “healthy lifestyle“. . . I was always so up & down, back & forth w/my “healthy lifestyle” telling myself it’s just a phase I’ll get back on my “diet/routine” Monday🙄🙄🙄 (have you said that to yourself before? I have. 107683 times minimum.) Then Monday would end up being a month or 2 or 3 later because I dreaded going back to that restricted life. Thinking that’s what I had to do to be healthy. . . Does this sound familiar at all? This is dieting. Which is NOT fun, for you or anyone around you. This is exactly why I have not been on a diet in over 2 years!!! . . Is it still a practice? Absolutely! But I enjoy a REALISTIC healthy lifestyle now, no stress, goals still being met, no crazy restrictions & still losing the body fat I wanna get off. I eat healthy because it makes me feel amazing & I genuinely enjoy it but I also feel freeeeeee to still eat whatever I want when I want w/out any guilt or eating an entire pizza in 30 minutes because I was deprived or my mind thinks I won’t get it again for months. . . Ditch the diets & understand you do not have to be restricted to reach your goals. It’s a spectrum to move across not something you start that has an expiration date. . . . . If you need a coach, someone to help you get to a place of happiness with food & not be on a diet anymore & still reach your goals?? I want to help you!! Some blueberry chia muffin #mealprep tonight. I added extra milk and lemon juice/zest and they turned out pretty darn tasty! 🍋 Since I don’t have a mini muffin tin I always have to leave them in the oven extra time - sometimes almost double. . Didn’t make it out for my 5k walk today but I figure all the mopping I did counts for something 😜 . Today's meal prep is to support the most lazy of us! My salads are literally 1. open bag 2. dump bags on salad 3. shake tupperware 4. eat! . Pre packed spicey chicken and avocado salads! 🥑🍗 Spicey chicken, avocado, corn and black beans, onions, crispy tortilla strips! I'll put a little bit of sour cream on them each night! . . My breakfast quiches will be amazing! 🥚 12 eggs, 1 roll of Jimmy Dean's sausage, 1 orange pepper, 1/4 cup red onion, half a cup of mozzarella. I don't really measure so the onion and cheese are random to taste. Also, salt and pepper if you want. Yummmm! #Bake at 300° for 20ish minutes. This should make roughly 12 egg cups depending on your quiche size. Serving size is 2. 🤙❤ Tomorrow I will cut and pack all of my snacks! Yay!

Made some vegetarian grain bowls for the next few days- Quinoa ( made in rice cooker) topped with roasted chic peas, purple yam, cauliflower, broccoli, green bean, carrot, and snow peas. Seasoned with smoked paprika, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. I prepared two sauces to put on top of it depending on what you are in the mood for- 1) Plain Greek Yogurt with Cilantro, lime, fresh garlic, black pepper, Himalayan pink salt 2) low sodium soy sauce, maple syrup, rosemary, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper. I've found myself craving Chick Fil A more often than I'd like, so I decided to try and DIY the meal I get: chicken nuggets with a simple salad instead of fries. I don't eat the fried peppers so I didn't include them. I grilled some chicken (just Italian seasoning, not whatever they use) and made a side of sugar free BBQ sauce for dressing. Total points: 0!!! One of the things I find most difficult about eating healthier is “whether or not it’s going to taste good” Roasting veggies, sweet potato and chicken together with spices and a little bit of brown rice turns out to be incredibly delicious!
