Terroar. Final abomination from the Powercon 3 pack. If you’ve ever asked yourself the question, what if Whiplash and Trapjaw had a baby, this is your answer.
Lord Gr’asp. Based on later unmade concepts from the original Masters of the Universe line. He’s a weird mixture of re-used parts since the line was getting a little long in the tooth and sales were down. I’m always happy to add a new member to the under-represented Snakemen.
Plasmar, part of one of this year’s Powercon exclusive 3 packs. He can generate plasma weapons of all types provided he has seen the weapon before. I guess that means he doesn’t have that great of an imagination? 🤔
“Once upon a time in Eternia, beyond the Pyramids of the Elder Mysteries, past the west edge of the Time Sands, lay the Three Towers. Their image appears throughout the history of the planet, going back to some of the oldest scrolls and even cave drawings, though there is no record of anyone witnessing them and those who have tried to find them have all dissappeared. The towers are obviously believed to be the source of the greatest wisdom, as they are believed to exist from eons ago, pre-dating all other recorded Eternia pre-history. They are believed by many to be the artifacts of a race so advanced that they could predict the future, which they did in the faces of the towers predicting the rise of Castle Grayskull, of Snake Mountain, and of the Great Cat, thought to symbolize those who will lead Eternia into a brighter future that leaves behind the chaotic cycles of war and bloodshed. Though the journey to their supposed location is beyond treacherous, all those who wish to commune with the ancients will always seek the towers out. The mystics of Eternia have their prophecies that predict that should the day come where the dark magic rises to shroud the land, those who lead the fight against it will journey to find the Three Towers and gain the secrets of their knowledge to restore balance.” This set is based on my interpretations of characters from Masters of the Universe toys and cartoons, from the 80s when I was a kid. I’ve drawn a set of these every few years since, inspired by the combo of fantasy, sci-fi, magic and medieval.

Trying to make sense of the world in a chaotic year
The early prototype for Castle Grayskull. Notice the now missing “pawn piece” atop the skull and the smaller teeth/jaw door. The gun turret is also different, this one is actually made from recycled Micronauts Hornetroid parts. Love looking at these early versions of now classic toys. #vintagetoys #heman #motu #mastersoftheuniverse #mattel
First crack at a Snake Mountain mug. Needs a few tweaks, but I’m really feeling the handle 👌🏼🐍
The difference between a boss and a leader: a boss says, 'Go!' - a leader says? 'Let's go!'
