I’m definitely a “keep your feels on the inside” type person. I hate confrontation and feeling vulnerable so this is definitely something i need to work on.

Sense focusing on my nutrition and drinking my shake daily I am finally off my Prevacid (after almost 15 years), no longer need mid afternoon naps, can keep up with the kids and actually sometimes feel like a kid!
I’ve literally NEVER felt this good!! And have zero intention of stopping!

I had never worked out arms much or in a planned out manner at all until mid January of this year. So I started with just getting used to exercises and figuring out what I could do. It’s been so fun to push myself and progress as the weeks go by.
Started using 15lbs dumbbells for bench press and the last few reps were sooooo tough. Kept progressing through 2.5lbs at a time. Last time I was able to use the 30lbs dbs for 12 reps, and today I was able to do my complete sets of 15 with them! 😍💪🏽

LEG DAY! 💥
I gave this mornings leg workout everything I had. The burn and struggle was real. I put everything out there and didn’t miss a rep. I refuse to be someone who looks like they skip leg day.

I learned a lot about slow and controlled reps this morning. Controlling the negative part of a rep. It was my first upper body workout in a week and it felt so good to hold some dumbbells. I went very light with about 15-20 reps per set. But, the slow and controlled movements provided plenty of burn. My workout as a whole was a much slower pace, but still highly effective. Hopefully it’s the start of feeling better and I’m back on track soon 🤞🏻

Today was supposed to be a heavy shoulder day until I hit a bump in the road. So instead I hit a quick high rep leg workout, high intensity cardio session and then had to call it quits. A little tweak in my shoulder cut today’s workout short, but still got a good sweat in!
