The ladies of the Simpson family
Reposting cause I left a really important shot out.
Season 2 episode 19 Lisa's substitute. This episode hits my soft spot only Round Springfield and Moaning Lisa can hit in the same way. Ms Hoover gets ill with the lime disease and Mr Bergstrom fills in as a sub. Lisa soon realizes it's the perfect teacher. She plays her saxophone for him and they even bump into each other at the museum and he teaches her more about ancient Egypt and dinosaurs. Then he tells homer to pay attention to the fact that Lisa is losing connection to her father. Then he tells homer to try and be interested in Lisa's interests. Then the next day Lisa wants to ask him to eat dinner with her and her family. Mr bergstrom is gone and Ms Hoover is back which no one was excited for. She runs around town to find him. She finds him and he tells her everything is going to be okay just read this note. He gets on the train and leaves and reminds little Lisa to read the note. It says you are Lisa Simpson. That part hit me hard. Then at home homer messes up and Lisa calls him a baboon and runs off. They make up and homer fixes all of the children's problems. Bart losing the election to Martin and Maggie losing her pacifier. Then he delivers one of the best lines in Simpsons history. Nope Marge let's just go to bed I'm on the biggest role of my life.
