Before I knew it, it was already time for me to start getting ready for work, which didn’t leave me time to workout. 😒 As I started getting ready I could feel that my anxiety levels were high, just like yesterday. And yesterday was a rest day for me. I just KNEW that if I could only get a workout in, it would have a huge impact on my anxiety level and as well as the rest of my day. ☀️

This is an interesting one. Many people become stress junkies, but don’t really realize it until they’re forced to reflect for a bit.
You see the endless lines for fast food, the common struggle to actually sit together and eat as a family, or the dependence on caffeine to keep up.

Stress.. It hits me everyday and hard. It builds and builds and builds. I know how to keep it low but it is a constant. I have recently been reminded that I don't do a lot for myself. My days are planned around getting stuff done for a lot of people. Then, i'll squeeze something for me while my mind is running in a million different directions and about to pop off. But when I was asked, "What did you do to celebrate that accomplishment" I said I don't have time, usually because I didn't even stop to realize I had achieved it. I usually continue to talk about all the other projects I have going on and have to get done. Which stresses me out more because I am talking about them and not doing them. This is not healthy. I do not want my life to revolve around stress. My brain is so clogged from "Stress Talk" I can not get done what I need to. I know I am not alone. So why is it that don't we let ourselves celebrate what we did. We are 100% our biggest critics. But we should be a little nicer to ourselves. We should not be pushing the accomplishment off to the sidelines. Think about the last time you sat back, took a deep breath for yourself, with a pat on the back and a smile on your face.
