Earth, you are one mind-blowing place to call home. Today is Earth Day but why celebrate for just one day? Let’s use it as inspiration to take a small step or two to live more mindfully and let’s preserve this beauty we get to call home. Here’s a couple things you can do:
🔅 Use a reusable cup, instead of buying bottled water
🔅 Get paper bags at the grocery store, forego bags altogether when possible, instead of “disposable” plastic bags
🔅Eat less meat. Did you know you’d save more water by not eating a pound of meat than you would if you didn’t shower for six months?
🔅Use glass Tupperware instead of plastic.
@costco has the best set of Pyrex glass containers with snap ware, unbreakable and unleakable and safe to microwave.

In every amazing sanctuary and park we stopped at in Florida, there was some tale of how conservationists saved that area from destruction. Driving through miles and miles of hideous gated communities, country clubs doomed to fall out of fashion in 10 years, and strip malls filled with mediocre shops was a reminder of what every swamp could be had developers had their way.

To think how little of this unbelievable beauty we would have left if not for the efforts of those before us ❤️ feeling extra grateful today 🌏
