Here’s a pic from a shoot of mine about 2 weeks ago. Think I was on around 2,300 calories here. I am currently lifting heavy 3 days a week (will increase to 4 when my body is ready 😂) tracking my macros through @avatarnutrition
(I’m on the lean muscle gain setting) and eating as much whole foods as I can (I go by an 80% whole foods and 20% other - girl, I love me a couple of choc biscuits and a glass of wine!). DISCLAIMER: I am not unhappy with my body. I do not work out because I’m unhappy with myself. I’ve always been slim and I decided this year was the year I wanted to create more shape in my androgynous figure and get stronger. I want to build my muscle (particularly around the booty) have overall definition and get stronger. I’ve been a dedicated yogi for the past 8 years, I used to workout EVERY DAY and I ended up plateauing. I pushed myself but didn’t really push myself. I was doing 60% most of the time. Now, I work out 3 Days a week at @aimzfitness

, work REALLY hard, like 80-90% intensity, lift heavy and I have rest days which I never allowed myself. I never knew how important they are! Also I just “ate healthy” and didn’t eat balanced meals.
I’m loving this journey so far and I’m loving seeing the small changes, building muscle, getting stronger, eating ALL THE FOOD and educating myself.
