How to Bulk Up by @peter_bowman
If you want to bulk up, don’t just start eating everything in sight! You will most likely feel terrible, and training will suffer if you’re bloated all day.
Instead calculate your maintenance calories and add 300-500 calories from there. If a few weeks go by and the weight hasn’t increased whatsoever then you know to bump the calories further.
You don’t need to be taking mass gainer supplements, instead focus on getting 20-40g of protein in with your meals depending on your size. This will ensure you’re spiking muscle protein synthesis (MPS) with every meal.
Get your training on point! Hit each muscle 2x a week, as opposed to once a week with a bro split. Put an emphasis on recovery, get adequate sleep and make sure your not overtraining.
