Today was chest day for me and the crew. Is it just me, or does anyone else really have to mentally prep themselves for a good chest workout? Im still working on making chest day one that I enjoy more. On a more positive note, I can see my chest muscles poppin’ out, thanks to this good ole’ cut. I’m 2 weeks in and feeling good! 💪🏼enough about me, how was your guys’ week??

Weekend cardio! Ran with and paced (until 8.5k. Dashed the remaining 1.5k) a friend, who got me my kit, in a 10k run this morning.
Good to know that my stamina is still intact despite lack of training! 😂
BANDED SQUATS 🔥 I love to do these as a warm-up or a finisher. For a warm-up I’ll just do it with the bar, or as a finisher I’ll throw some plates on and do it weighted. TAG A FRIEND and try these on your next leg day! 😋

• TRYING NEW EXERCISES in the gym can be intimidating; setting up, finding a comfortable weight and mastering the proper form is difficult sometimes but don’t let that stop you! Persistence and trial and error is key🙏🏻
In the first video I’m trying a squat form that is new to me! It took many tries at first I was using the squat bar with really heavy weight and ended up with super light weight on the smith machine🤷🏻♀️ I just kept tying new things and finally found something that worked for me.
With that being said it was my first time with the Jefferson squat so if you have any pointers Im all ears🤓

My pt always says to go slower, maybe i go fast just get the pain over and done with but... i need to understand that pain is where the growth is! Doing the last reps upto 15, where i can feel it- doing one more can't make it hurt more than what is being experienced now 🤣

Jen Thompson does heavy holds, so therefore I will do some “heavy” holds. I probably should’ve gone for a little loftier number, but I’ve never held more than 104 lbs above my head so I wanted to go conservative! Going to try 185 for 10 seconds next bench session before my working sets. It really did make my 3 sets of 75 after this feel super light 😎 (also hello lil lats I see y’all trynna show up for the partayyyy)
Today my family and I said goodbye to the head of our household and the man I have to thank for my button nose.
