This weekend, our small little town is celebrating its annual Lavender Festival 🌿 Growing up in the lavender capital of the world (truth) I remember dreading this weekend. I hated the smell and it brought in sooo many visitors. As an adult, I find myself harvesting my plant outside as soon as possible to bring this stuff in and stuff it around the house 🙈 funny how much you change as you get older. We always think we’d never do this or we’d never like that- and yet, here I am 😂 happy Friday eve! 😍
Lavender fixes everything.

I got to go to the cutest little lavender festival in Fort Scott a few weeks ago! I brought back tons of goodies for the apartment, including dried stems and lotion. Nothing beats the smell of fresh lavender! 👩🏻🌾💜 #somethingtayloredblog #discoverunder1k
