For those of you who have been following poo gate you will be pleased (or not give a 💩) to know that today not only did we not wake up with Hiroshipooma but we have only had 3 (as opposed to 16 which has been the daily average of 💩s) and each one is looking less runny 🙈 #tmi #sorrynotsorry • We have changed his formula from Aptamil to SMA Lactose free and we have cut all Cows Milk out from his diet 🐄 • For 3 weeks he has had poo gate and it has been getting progressively worse, we have been to the docs numerous times whilst they fobbed us off telling us it was probably viral, then saying he needed anti-biotics (which I said no to unless they did tests to say he actually needed them). Not once did any nurse or doc tell me it might be down to a Lactose Intolerance, despite all of his symptoms displaying signs of this. I actually only found out about that through other Mums on here and thank god! 🖤 • Anyway fingers crossed it stays this good and we have found the cause. And another thing, I have had sooooo many messages from other Mums who have had similar problems with their kids or way way worse. Maybe we are weaning these babies onto Cows Milk too early? 🤷🏽‍♀️ And maybe the NHS needs to do more to make Mums aware of the fact that alot of babies dont react well to it and it could be an option to consider when problems arise? • #lactoseintolerance #dairyfree

Spaghetti Squash in Italian Seasoned Ground Beef and Diced Tomatoes! First, I poke holes in the squash and microwave it for 5 or more minutes depending how big it is. Then I chop it in half, scrape out the seeds, spread a bit of olive or avocado oil on the flesh with some salt and pepper. Bake it at 400°F for about 30 minutes skin side up on a cooking tray. Quinoa meatballs! I have mentioned here before that my first born is on a very careful diet, which requires me to be very creative and open minded with his food. After all, the objective is delicious healing, nourishing and occasionally cleansing foods that the child will actually enjoy and look forward to eating, not limited, bland, boring meals. These meatballs check all those good boxes without a doubt. They were made simply from a combination of fresh ground beef (not trimmed or lean, full fat), cooked (lightly salted) quinoa, free range eggs, onions, peppers, herbs, and salt to taste, and baked for about 30mins. They were accompanied by sauteed garden veggies cooked in tallow, bone broth, crayfish, herbs, and salt. My son inhales these, and so many other foods within his current diet (which, by God's grace, is temporary). Once a picky eater, he now eats very cooperatively, is much more curious about and interested in food, and even has his favorites that he requests and does a little dance when he sees. Phew! We've come a long way y'all. There was a time I wasn't sure he'd ever eat anything other than Cerelac! 🤷 Lol. I'll tell you all about it some day soon, cause I'd love to help other mum's like me.
