Oat cookies are so good anytime, everytime, all the time. Made them crunchy this time to go with my homemade banana icecream, and had it for brekki today 😋!
🍪 Oat cookies :
- oat flour
- Turkish yoghurt - Dates paste - Dark chocolate
I used the dates to add the sweetness. The dough will get cimenty at some point, either add more yoghurt or water to avoid dry cookies. You can also make them soft by adding 1 egg. Make cookie shape and put the chocolate on top. Cook in 180 C for 20mn.
🍦 Banana icecream :
- 1 frozen banana - Handful walnuts
Mix all together in a blender, add 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1/2 tbsp chocolate spread (I used @healthyco #Proteinella

When your feeling Un-motivated, it doesn’t mean you go off track, you can still throw together a little stir-fry, grill some halloumi, and turkey bacon, chop it up and there you have dinner in 12 mins! (Stir-fry I threw in broccoli, asparagus, sugar snaps, honey, sesame seeds, olive oil, Light soy sauce) .
Did I go gym today, NOPE! Wasn’t feel 100% before, I came home and had an hour, woke up felt fantastic went park for 30 mins did some hill sprints, covered over 5km, burnt over 500kcals and came home wet! .
Mind over matter! 👍🏽😊 sometimes you need to push yourself, but also you need to know your body, so you may need to rest with which I am over weekend, and looking forward to a beer over the weekend ❤️🍺 (I think after working all last week then driving down to London on Saturday and having a late night at the @eminem
Concert then driving back Sunday then working all week and having the responsibilities I have at home is finally catching up with me so rest it is! 😊

It’s Friday and I’m NOT on an airplane because I’m actually sticking around this weekend 👯♀️ After 6 months of traveling to Seattle for work, it’s about time I actually checked out the city. The weather is supposed to be amazing so I’m super stoked and honestly happy to avoid the long flight/jet lag this week. But staying also means living out of a suitcase and more meals out 😕 For me, it doesn’t matter how healthy/clean I am when I travel, I never feel quite as good as when I’m cooking and eating at home.

Protein chocolate bars have their place. Three things though:
1. They are not automatically healthier just because they have more protein in them.
2. They are not a valid replacement for whole food protein sources, but they may be useful for supplementation.
3. They definitely don’t taste as good as the real thing 😂

wedding morning brunch spread for a beautiful bride and her bridesmaids while getting hair/makeup!💫 I personally never quite understood why bridal hair/makeup mornings are catered with Tim Horton’s bagels&donuts (Canadians you know what I mean😜) (if that’s your thing then that’s GREAT!) but personally on my wedding day.. I wouldn’t want to be loading my body with chemicals, sugar and gluten hours before such an important day and LONG day! (not to mention a zillion photos and a dress that you want to fit just right😬I’m sure previous brides can attest to that right?!👋🏻 the items these ladies chose for their spread were: sprouted quinoa and roasted seasonal veg salad with a herby lemon vinaigrette+sprouts&watermelon radish, fruit platter, veggie platter (w/ homemade hummus),honey&thyme granola with creamy vanilla bean almond milk and raw walnut&date brownies frosted with avocado ganache! I eliminated gluten, dairy and refined sugar 5 years ago and I often get asked if I miss those things- honestly I don't ever miss them! I haven't found a food yet that can't be recreated into a healthier version or without those things and I feel so much better without them!

1.5 inch TENDERloin, mid-rare. I used a sous vide for 45min at around 130F after seasoning generously with fresh rosemary, salt, pepper, garlic. Usually tenderloin doesn’t have little veins of fat streaking through, but I’m certainly not complaining — juiciness level was unctuous. Thanks @kenjilopezalt
