Movie review of: "Definitely, maybe."
Have you ever in the situation where once in a while your sister is watching a movie and you somehow end up watching her movie, and even though it's not great you keep watching it until it's finished, this was the movie #DefinitelyMaybe
develops a story about a father telling his daughter how he fell in love with her mother in the most mysterious story ever.
has been used in many movies and this is no exception. The #movie
feels like a huge cliché that tries to be a break from any #romance
in the 2000s, but it doesn't accomplish it.
has a stellar #cast
with actors like #RyanReynolds
But none of them manage to overcome the #cliché
of a movie this was.
The characters end up being so cliché and predictable that I wish this movie could've been different.
I mean some #characters
do have chemistry, but even with all the lovable moments, most of them don't manage to overcome the predictability of each character and each storyline.
This movie also becomes a bit boring after a while, because it repeats the same story over and over, with the twist of the mistery of who is the mother. It's kind of like #HowIMetYourMother
but in a movie filled with cliches and bad comedy.
This movie has a stellar cast and some lovable characters, still it manages to fall short.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend you this movie even if you're a fan of rom-coms. This is a movie with some lovable scenarios, but it doesn't manage to deliver an interesting yet engaging movie that this film could've been.
