Why do you run?
What is so special in running?
What are you going to do when your knees are worn out due to running?
Are you a runner in the 1st place?
What are you trying to achieve by running?
I’m often thrown these questions by none other than my own family, relatives and some of my friends.
Of course I’m not going to be given any award nor my name will be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records! .
I took up running to face the challenges, fear, heartbreaks, disappointments in my life. I channel all my stress into my running and I just RUN!
I tried smoking and consuming alcohol when I was going through deep shit in my life. I couldn’t sustain with those remedies. Hence,RUNNING! .
Besides, my both siblings, @thilipronnie
were school running athletes while I excelled only in curriculum. I was often teased by my relatives who say that ‘having a good education isn’t going to help you to reduce your weight! (I was obese all the while). .
Now, I’m happy that I can run long distances! 3km, 5km, 7km, 10km, 12km and the max I’ve ran 13km! .
My pace varies from 7 minutes per km to 10 minutes per km. This is an indication that consistent practice is needed. .
I’m a runner because I RUN. Not Because I RUN FAST or SLOW. But because I RUN! .
I Run With All My HEART. Each and every RUN is mine and no one can ever Imagine confiscating it from me! .
As much as I the run gives me pain and soreness, It does reward me with PRIDE!!! . Each Run and Medal has its own Story! .
RUNNING IS FUCKING ADDICTIVE!!! AND I’M HIGH ON RUNNING!!
