"Your real strength comes from being your best you" - Po πŸΌπŸ‘Šβ˜―οΈ . One of the really amazing things about training in martial arts is that you can truly mold yourself into the person you want to become 😎 . The training floor will teach you to persevere, to build self discipline, and the meaning of respect πŸ”₯ . The training floor will teach you your breaking point, and how to expand it. It will also teach you the meaning of brotherhood and sisterhood πŸ‘±πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘±πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ . Martial arts training leads you progressively down the path to being your best self, which will spread to your life outside of the training hall πŸ‘ . Happy training my friends πŸ˜€

Plow stretch anyone? πŸ€ͺ . #Repost @alaafitlife (@get_repost ) ・・・ ‼️ INFORMATIVE POST ‼️ . . Follow @alaafitlife for training, diet and healthy lifestyle tips !!! . . ROLLOVER MORE OFTEN!⚑️ . Here’s a great stretch that can be done held in this position, or done dynamically feet rolled over on to head and shoulders and back to feet is seated position. . To start you might not be able to get your toes to touch the floor so start with legs going back as far as you can in control and over time at work your range of motion will increase!πŸ‘πŸΌ . Here are further technique tips from @holisticali - 1. Begin by lying flat on your back with your legs extended and your arms at your sides, palms down. On an inhalation, use your abdominal muscles to lift your legs and hips up toward the ceiling. 2. Bring your torso perpendicular to the floor. Straighten your legs and slowly lower your toes to the floor with your legs fully extended. If your toes do not yet touch the floor, support your back with your hands. Lower your legs as far as possible, keeping your legs straight. Continue to keep your back supported if your feet do not touch the floor. 3. If your feet rest comfortably, extend your arms along the floor and interlace your fingers. Press your upper arms firmly into the floor, drawing down through the pinkie finger side of your hands. 4. Align your hips over your shoulders. Un-tuck your toes and press the tops of your feet into the floor. 5. Lift your tailbone higher, and draw your inner groin deep into your pelvis. Keep a space between your chin and chest, and at the same time, lift your chest to open the upper back. Soften your throat. Gaze down toward your cheeks. 6. Hold the pose for up to five minutes. 7. To release, support your back with your hands. Then, slowly roll down, one vertebra at a time, bending your knees if you need to.

Weapons play with my friend Jason. - Jason is a martial arts enthusiast like me, in particular with sword play. - We decided to share ideas and see how kung fu weapons training related to his style. - Internal Kung fu applies to ANY movement. - Whether it’s for golf, basketball, walking, doing the dishes.... whatever you are doing you can be training Kung fu. - The mastery of your β€œChi” enables more speed, power, agility and better reflexes. - Simply put you want to use as little force as possible by letting your muscular system release whilst moving. - Hope this helps πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

I’ve used these leg braces more in the past month than i have in the last year that I’ve had them. It’s still messy but there’s a start to everything and there’s always room for improvement Exercise truly is medicine. Being able to move, exercise, and be healthy is such a blessing. In this photos Chu Shong Tin was helping me expand my wrist joint while under pressure. Once a joint is mindfully decompressed or expanded it is able to take enormous amount of pressure without tensing up or compressing. - Some people that have not experienced this believe that you need to tense up the wrist to protect it from damage when you punch. Bruce Lee thought in this way... - However once your experience the feeling in one joint you experientially understand the possibility of retaining relaxation while under pressure.

Real Kung Fu enables us to produce enormous power from a short distance. This is where the concept of one-inch punch came from, however unfortunately many misunderstand this and just push the person away. This is why I demonstrate this ability with kicks because it's not easy to push with this type of kick if the leg is in the air!
