“Harry wished he had about eight more eyes. He turned his head in every direction as they walked up the street, trying to look at everything at once: the shops, the things outside them, the people doing their shopping. A plump woman outside an apothecary’s was shaking her head as they passed, saying, ‘Dragon liver, seventeen Sickles an ounce, they’re mad...’”⚡️
Beautiful Victoria Street in Edinburgh. Allegedly, where JK Rowling dreamed up Diagon Alley❤️
I wanted to see a coyote so badly while we were in Death Valley, but I thought there wasn't a chance. It was so hot and we were only in the park for a day. As we were driving out the next morning Seth said, "Quick! Grab your 300!" I started reaching for my highest mag lens, but I didn't even need it.
The coyote came right up to our car and waited. A pretty good indication that people had fed it, probably out a car window. Now this coyote has lost its natural fear of people and it feels safe coming up to cars. Someone could easily not see it on the road and hit it. Our food isn't good for animals either as it tends to make them sick. It's easy to see a wild animal and want to feed it, but it's so much better not to.
