L’importance du repos dans la pratique sportive ? — Beaucoup de personnes délaissent le repos, s’entraînent tous les jours constamment, ne laissant aucun répit à leur corps. Mais quelles sont les conséquences ? — 🔺On ne le répétera sans doute jamais assez, mais pour un sportif, quel que soit son niveau, le repos est quelque chose de primordial. Il permet de récupérer de l’énergie et de la force, ainsi qu’aux muscles de récupérer et de se reconstruire. 🔺La récupération musculaire est très importante puisque, en plus de garantir un regain d’énergie, elle permet de réparer les microfissures que les exercices ont forcément provoqué au sein de vos fibres musculaires. Pour les muscles, le repos se fait par la consommation de bons aliments (dont les glucides pour le regain d’énergie, viandes/œufs/poissons pour le regain de créatine dans les muscles et de protéines pour la réparation des microfissures), mais passe également par une inactivité temporaire des muscles concernés par la récupération. — 🔺Si vous délaissez le repos, vous vous exposez à de nombreux problèmes, que ce soit psychologique : des problèmes de concentrations, de la fatigue musculaire ou sur le plan médical : avec des risques de blessures qui peuvent être d’une petite crampe à une blessure qui peut vous stopper pendant plus d’1 mois facilement. — 🔺 Alors que vous préférez la récupération active (continuer à faire de l’exercice mais sans forcer, poids léger, cardio : marche à pied, vélo elliptique en petite durée) ou en passive (dormir 8h, une sieste de 30 min, une bonne alimentation, et une séance d’étirements) ne négligez pas ce jour sacré dans une semaine de training, c’est grâce à lui que votre corps vous remerciera dans les années futures, et que votre progression restera en net croissance ! #teamkaraviet#fitness #fit #motivation #training #bodybuilding #fitnessmodel #workout #health #healthy #fitnessaddict #body #aesthetic #french #frenchfitness #fitfam #instagood #instafitness #francais #musculation

Sunday session 😰😰 hard to beat a wee bit of cardio and circuits. Because my 6 days weight training is structured I like to use my so called rest day to just head into the gym and do what I feel like, today's workout was: ⬅30 mins on the crosstrainer level 6 ⬅Circuits of : 🔹Punchbag, 1 jab up to 10 jabs and back down again followed by round kicks, 10xleft 10xright 🔹Donkey kicks 20 left and 20 right 🔹Fire hydrant 20 left and 20 right 🔹Goblet squats using a 8kg kettle bell on a balance board x 20 🔹1 minute of skipping Repeated this x 4 ⬅20 mins on bike level 3 ⬅10 mins on treadmill, highest incline at a fast walking pace This took me an hour and 50 mins including stretches with a calorie burn of 1076 🤘🤘

A little REGENERATION goes a long way. Easily the most underrated part of training. Thanks @surfdr14 for the weekly maintenance. Shortly after getting adjusted, I went to reinforce my new posture in a training session. The weights were flying around today. It's interesting how people fail to take maintenance on their bodies, but expect performance at certain times. Do you wait till your engine blows up to change the oil?
