Cauliflower base vegetarian pizza - treat meal without being too much of a treat!! I think the reason the base works so well is because in this recipe you don’t cook the cauliflower and in most of them I’ve looked at you cook the cauliflower and then have to remove all the moisture. In my opinion, here’s a couple things, that when managing & moving forward from back pain, take priority over keeping a “nice flat back”. ••• 1. Having a great connection with the floor. Most of our force production / absorption occurs here. Feet > knees > hips > spine. 2. Ensuring we have proper ownership & activation of the big player muscles when it comes to protecting the spine (TVA & Anterior core, lats, erectors, glutes & hamstrings). 3. Learning how to hip hinge properly. And learning how to keep a neutral lumbar position whilst moving through end range hip extension & flexion. 4. Getting brutally strong at the hip hinge, with increasingly difficult loading parameters (machines, axial loading, anteroposterior loading). 5. Ensuring we have freedom to move to the best of our necessity / ability. Finally trying out another poke bowl place 🤩 7.5/10 for taste, price AND portion (and i’m all about food portion!) Eating out can be difficult but you can always pick the healthier option (or not, whatever you feel) possible. I truly love this because i get to sub the rice for quinoa and they’re so generous with the toppings and yes, defo not gonna be the first!

Guten Morgen Kinder der Sonne 🌞 Heute mal ein für mich wichtiges Thema als Personal Trainer bezüglich Ernährungsplan/Motivationstief. Wir müssen uns von der Idee verabschieden, das Motivation und Ernährungsumstellung nicht sofort und ohne Up's and Downs klappen. Wer aufrichtig zu sich selbst ist, das heißt, sich selbst ergründen kann, und sich traut, die immer lauter werdenden Zweifel bezüglich warum man überhaupt trainiert, und wieder nicht was süßes essen kann. Man sollte sich Gedanken machen warum überhaupt Trainieren/Ernährung umstellen und im Leben wirklich will. Statt sich in einem faulen Kompromiss einzurichten, sollte man den Mut haben, eine Entscheidung zu treffen, den neuen definierten Plan, und neue Wege zu beschreiten. Auf diese Weise kann man viel gewinnen, viel über sich selbst lernen. In vielen Bereichen haben wir dabei kein Problem mit Veränderungen und Brüchen. Es fällt uns relativ leicht in eine neue Wohnung zu ziehen, wenn die alte zu klein wird, oder sogar eine Beziehung zu beenden, wenn es nicht mehr so passt. Aber warum fällt es uns schwer UNSEREN Körper gut zu behandeln? Warum müssen wir die X-te Schachtel Zigarette heute Rauchen? Wenn es aber an unsere Gesundheit geht, gestehen wir uns Neuanfänge noch immer nicht so wirklich zu. Denn wenn man oft Rückschläge oder keine schnellen Erfolge sieht obwohl man einen bestimmten Plan verfolgt und viel Zeit und Arbeit in die vermeintliche Wunsch Körper gesteckt hat, soll sich diese nun bitte auch auszahlen und einen gefälligst glücklich machen. Doch dies passiert nicht von heute auf morgen, mit Geduld Disziplin und Motivation zu wissen WOFÜR man es macht. Incline leg pull downs are not as easy as they look. I’m so inflexible and need to really work on this area of my fitness. I’m hoping within the next 6 months to improve my cross ankle forward folds and the runners lunge. Let talk meal prep!!🍴 . I’ve done this for a while as I think it’s so valuable. Preparation is key to much of this “healthy lifestyle”, as convenience foods can take over if we allow ourselves to leave the house for 12 hours unprepared. . Benefits? 1️⃣Prepping 4-6 meals may consume a solid hour or 2 of your day but it saves time in the long run! 2️⃣ You’ll save money (think of all those Tesco meal deals adding up over a week!) 3️⃣ You know the exact ingredients & nutritional values going into your meal, no hidden additives or hidden calories 4️⃣ You’ll reach your goals faster & EASIER. 5️⃣ You’ll feel better for the better foods . Equally, it is possible to make wiser choices when buying food out/from a shop but it is less convenient & likely way more expensive. When I got super stressed at uni, I stopped prioritising meal prep when ideally I should’ve done as I was making the best choices I could but often under-eating / over-snacking / fuelling with lesser nutritious foods (but still deemed as low calorie) / feeling sluggish & wasting £££’s.
