from this morning! 👉🏼 I took a little bit of preworkout before the gym this morning. I’ve never tried it before so I went with half a scoop to see how my body responded- I didn’t notice too much of a difference so I think I’ll try the full scoop tomorrow. 👉🏼 Workout stats from this afternoon- wanted to stay on the elliptical for longer but I’m on a schedule today! 👉🏼 Post workout snack. The lemon pepper tuna is delicious but I still think that hickory smoked flavor from yesterday is my favorite! 👉🏼 Crockpot chicken fajitas are cooking for tonight and it smells sooooo good! 🤤 My brother and niece are coming down for a visit today. Total core intelligence is the foundation of exercise and movement. The plank is a basic core exercise that you can use to strengthen your inner unit muscles.
Core stability helps with the 7 primal movement patterns (squat, lunge, bend, push, pull, twist, gait). All of these have individual motor control strategies, and the brain has to develop an integrated strategy for each specific movement pattern.
Inner unit exercises like the plank help improve your overall foundation and include these benefits:

Try out a basic elbow plank - once you can hold it for 90 seconds, then move onto some variations (side plank, leg raised plank, etc). I do planks 1-2 times per week, but you can do them every day!

Happy Saturday everyone! Glad another weekend is here. Weigh in Saturday and happy to report a 2.2 lbs loss. I definitely thought after my unplanned cheat on Monday that my weigh in today was going to suck ass. Wonder what that number would have been if I didn't go in on pizza and rice on Monday. Oh well, can't think like that. Time to put in another solid day today. Have a good one everyone! To the gym!

Soooo.. You are now looking at freshly made Level 2 Fitness Instructor. YES! I have finally made a decision to follow my long time dream and try and establish my career in the Fitness Industry. If everything goes well and according to the plan, within next few weeks we should have a new certified PT on London grounds 💪😍 This is a HUGE step for me and I am extremely excited as well as I am scared. But you know what? If I never try, how can I ever know?.. 🤔 So yes, I decided to listen to my heart and set myself where one of my biggest passions are laid at ❤️Let's hope this is the place where I truly belong to 🙏😘 .

💥Let’s talk about transformation💥
Over the past year or so, we’ve been on quite the rollercoaster of change🎢. In December of 2016 we made the big move from Florida to Utah ✈️ Giving up the beach 🏝 for the mountains ⛰ with only hope in our hearts. Turns out it was a pretty good decision for all of us 🙌
With any change there comes sacrifice, but your health should never be one of them! Prior to he move we made a commitment to ourselves to get healthy emotionally and physically. When the sudden decision was made to make the big move, rightfully our focus shifted on he move and getting our 4 kids, a stubborn fur ball reluctant to change, and everything we own across the country. Sounds fun right?🤦🏼♂️ Now that we’ve settled into a rhythm, and have become more comfortable with our new HOME - the focus can now shift back on getting healthy, staying healthy, and being able to enjoy what’s yet to come 🤙
These pics are not that far apart...and the point is to show you the change is possible in any situation and can happen quite quickly with commitment and motivation.
The commitment comes from within YOU while the motivation can come in many forms. Whatever it takes to become a better you is what matters! 💥 I’m almost 40 and refuse to use age as an excuse...
💥 I have a busy and hectic life but will never say I DON’T HAVE THE TIME to take care of myself...
💥 I love food and flavor but will never use that as an excuse to eat poorly...
