With the world cup over and nothing really for me to do in the evenings, I’m going to jump on the French bandwagon (said with an accent and a cigarette for effect). What better landmark to capture France in my #fromthetop
theme, in obviously the most touristy capacity - than the Eiffel!
The opening photo is of the Arc de Triomphe , where the convergence of multiple roads makes it a beautiful sight from above.
The structure, the ride up, the fact that the tower is visible from pretty much any corner of the city and of course the view from the top – is all something you’d totally write home about! Infact the famous French writer, Guy de Maupassant, whom frequently lunched at the tower, claimed it was “the only place in Paris where I don’t have to see it.”
