Day 76 of #80dayobsession
is done. Like I said a few posts back: I know I should be done by now. I’m not counting this as completing the program since it wasn’t in the 13 weeks. But I’m going to be proud of myself for having experienced all 80 workouts when I get there. On October 1st I plan to hopefully start round 2. We will see how it works out. For now, I have picked back up. Only 4 more to go.
4.0 Grade Point Average this past term. Proof that no matter what life throws your way it's still possible to achieve your dreams.
Curry hummus chicken (sautéed chicken add a tablespoon of hummus and curry powder - 2 servings), broccoli, carrots, and a lemon pepper garlic couscous (1 cup water, 1 cup couscous, teaspoon of fresh minced garlic, lemon pepper seasoning - 3 servings: we have some to our roommate). Broccoli and carrots just steamed.
Eat healthy (and add a little exercise too if you can)

So I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady on social media... come to find out, she’s out there helping people live their healthiest life too, just like me! But we had another thing in common... she’s a 💚Rockstar Transplant Mom💚! We have chatted about everything from healthy meals, to lab tests, to superfoods and biopsies, from how amazing that fitness program was- to ‘I hear ya on those drug side effects’... and to most, those things have no connection... but to us and to all those other 💚Warriors💚 out there... all those things are so important to everyday life!
We are a community, a close knit group of 💚Warriors💚 that look at things differently than most- and her and I get each other differently than many! So so glad I got to chat and give this amazing Transplant Mom a hug here at Summit! 💚💙Donate Life💙💚 Cuz without those donors- her and I would never have even met and may not be here working to help as many as we can- to live their ✨healthiest life✨!! 🙏🏼
Torsdag var en helt særlig dag. 17 og sidste eksamen blev afsluttet med endnu et 12 tal og jeg var meget glad og lettet! Vejen her til har langt fra været nem og jeg har virkelig skulle bestige nogle bjerge, men jeg er på alle niveauer kommet i mål. Smilet er ægte og jeg er så taknemmelig for tilværelsen. Jeg er stolt af mig selv, især fordi jeg på det faglige niveau har rykket mig rigtig meget. Det er blevet til 13 12 taller, 1 10 tal og 3 7 taller, så med et snit på 11.2 har jeg bevist overfor mig selv, at jeg kan alt, med det rette fokus, stædighed og vilje. #ifyoucandreamityoucandoit
Dagen var som jeg havde drømt om. Jeg blev fejret på skolen af den tætteste familie, hvor vi senere fik frokost hjemme hos os og senere kom der ca. 20 veninder, familie og venner til et kagebord og hygge i haven.
På næste lørdag skal huen fejres, når jeg holder en større studenterfest 💃

CONFESSION: I doubt myself on the regular, and often wonder if I’m making an impact or a difference. I question if people see my heart or if they question my motives. !). Then today, I received this from a member of my oily family. She came to Convention, stayed in our team house and I was so grateful to have time with her but truly felt disappointed that I didn’t have more time with her while we were there. I can’t tell you how much this means to me! It was like a hug that I desperately needed at this very moment. Thank you, Julie!!!! Not only was it incredibly thoughtful of you to take the time to order me a CUSTOM mug (whuuuttt?!!! I love it - just the reminder I need that God’s got this!), but the words in your sweet card filled my heart and made me well up with tears of joy. To say that I’m moved is an understatement. Six years ago today, Dave loaded 2 papillons, 30 cases of wine and a U-Haul of the possessions we didn't trust the movers with into/onto the back of Sara's trusty Highlander and made the solo drive from Cincinnati to Newberg so we could turn Bells Up from dream to reality. (That was our neighbor's house across the street, btw.) 2,500 miles and 20-plus years of friends and life experiences left behind. Being a momtrepreneur can be ugly. I suffer from mom guilt more often than not. My family gets my leftovers more often than I care to admit. This weekend, I will be free from guilt. My priority is spending time with family because I believe that I can do all the other things another day. This weekend is all about celebrating my soon-to-be six year old because I want him to know HE IS WORTHY, he is LOVED, and I believe in him, so that he, too, will believe in himself.

A self appreciation & proud of myself post for all the reasons that probably didn't cross your mind. It has nothing to do with a flat tummy (nonexistent) nor toned legs (nonexistent) nor abs or whatever some other gym body words there are. Let's break this down a little. 99% of the time I keep this side of me totally to myself. It has long been a struggle area and something I had many battles with. A long story short- after trying a long array of classes as a kid & leaving all either in tears or feeling like I've failed, then really enjoying tennis for a while and then a bit of football in primary school and for a tiny spell later on I have up on "the gym environment". Back at uni I desperately needed to clear my mind and add some movement besides just my strolls in the city (❤️). I soon found out that the gym isn't such a scary and unfriendly environment after all! So, now a few years later, this slow journey is becoming more and more enjoyable. Catching up on new music or blasting my old faves on the treadmill. A few strengthening exercises and my new absolute fave - yoga. For me it is a 100% me time. A meditation of sorts. A celebration of what I can do and a routine that gives the days some structure.
I'm very surprised if you've read all the way to down here. If you have, perhaps you know what I am on about. One baby step at a time. Find what works for you. Push, but ease off too. Love, B. Xx
