Hello from Florida! 👋🏼🌴☀️ My daughters and I are here for one night en route to Haiti for a mission trip with @m25m_org
We can’t wait to visit the largest orphanage there! 👼🏼❤️

Here are the results!

Seriously impressed with how quick you get out the door in the morning 🙌🏼 (I’m a D 😜)
I really enjoyed reading about your morning routines. Thank you for sharing! 😴☕️💩😂🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♂️
💪🏻It doesn't get easier you get stronger.💪🏻
Genieten! 🌞

I laugh to myself often while running, but can never remember why later.
Runner hair, don't care. 💁♀️ (ps. Denver friends, I need a recommendation for a hair stylist because I kinda do care... 💇♀️ 🤣 DM me!)
Ya'll know I'm a huge fan of taking easy days easy. Easy runs help my body to be able to take on the harder days. The hard part about pacing for "easy" days is that easy runs can be relative to each person and relative to each day. Today I ran easy and I ended with a pace on the faster end of my prescribed easy pace. The miles felt easier despite the hard speedwork, leg day, AND chasing around my two monster dogs 🤣🐶 yesterday. I allowed myself to settle into that pace because my vitals (HR and respiratory rate) were in comfortable ranges. .
Two reasons for my change in pace from 10+ minute miles to sub-9 minute miles are the recent change in temperature and air quality here in Colorado. The smog from the forest fires last week has mostly cleared making it much more pleasant to breathe. We also changed from 90+ degrees days to upper 70s, which my body is much more happier running in. Heat and humidity both slow us down- on an 80 degree day this can be almost by 20%! 😮
Thank you all that have reached out to me and let me know these types of posts are helpful! Let me know what else you'd like to read about OR if you want me to stop with the knowledge and just review my runs. 😊💜
6 miles, 52:08, 8:40/mile

"It hurts now but one day it will be your warmup."
It may have taken an hour and a half to do it BUT I got my run in. 1.5 miles ez followed by 3 tempo miles @ 7:10 average pace followed by a mile of 20 second sprints/40second jog. Gearing up for my 2nd half marathon of the year this Saturday. I'm excited but also very nervous. I dont feel like I'm where I should be mentally/physically but I'll do my best and that's all you can really do in a race! 😁
Just keep swimming. 🏊
If you stop, the cold sets in. ☃️
“Great things never come from comfort zones”.. dus loop ik er recht uit, op zoek naar nieuwe uitdagingen 🏃🏻♀️! Nu mijn marathon achter de rug is, zit ik een beetje met een zwart gat na een halfjaar trainen voor een specifiek doel. Langs de andere kant neemt het heel wat druk weg en probeer ik opnieuw gewoon te genieten van het hardlopen. Nog iemand last van de “post marathon-blues”? 🙃
Listen, love, speak, pray, laugh, answer, share, enjoy, trust, forgive, and promise. ALL ways to love. 💜
Love can conquer many things... I want to teach my kids to love others, not those who are like us, look like us or even act like us...thats not love...BUT Loving others because we all deserve to be loved, one heart at a time...spread more love, do more kind acts, be a person who makes others feel valued. #lovedoes #loveinaction
When we finally see our body for what it is and what it can accomplish, we find true transformation. The kind that bleeds into our soul, reminds us of our true strength, and encourages us to keep fighting for the worth we all deserve. #transformationtuesday
Ok, all of you awesome morning runners, how do you do it? 🙌🏼 I find it difficult to run first thing the morning because my body is still half asleep. And my mind is behind that... 😂
I’ve been doing it for the summer but phew, it’s not easy!
Quick poll: How long does it take you to get out the door in the morning? What is the time from when the alarm goes off to the time you start running?
A. 0-15 minutes
B. 15-30 minutes
C. 30-45 minutes
D. 45-1 hour
E. 1 hour+
I will share the results in my next post.
And for me, I’m usually D. with a lot of effort. 😆
I seriously admire those runners that run 8 miles, take a photo, write a caption, and have it posted on IG by the time I wake up! 🤯🙌🏼 (and thanks for that because it helps me get out the door! 😊)
Starting today he leaves again stronger than before!
