Bleak, as her heart was, she always searched for the sweetest of the things to fill up the empty bag that she always carried with her, because the darkest of the black could get filled with some light, she believed.
She was a searcher.
Searcher of soul.
Searcher of peace.
Searcher of happiness, sometimes, also sadness, because she believed that nothing comes easy. What comes easy is never what we achieve, it is just something that destiny has placed in our laps perfectly, gently.
Today, she was going out on a search for something she never thought she would. "Hey, are you sure you can do this?" She contemplated her thoughts again, as she heard these words. "I don't know." She said, staring out of the window.
Her eyes were swollen and had patches around them, displaying how she hadn't slept for the past three nights, yet her eyes had that glint, that sparkle of joy when all of a sudden a tear drop rolled out of her eye. No, but... I swear that she was a happy bird, and even if she was practically crying, her cries came out as chirps.
She took out a blank paper and started to scribble something incoherent and irrelevant to what she had in her mind. And then threw that paper away. She took another one out and at the end, she simply wrote, "I want to walk on the horizon." "It's time to go." They said and she got up to move herself to look into a mirror. She forced a smile looking into that silver coated thing she wasn't really fond of, and her eye bags suddenly looked lighter than before. She, hypothetically, locked her hair behind her ear and realized she didn't have any. Smiling shyly at her own self, she painted her lips in a tint of pink which made her cheeks look flushed in the same shade. She took out a cap matching her lips and cheeks, to cover her baldness, but decided to leave it like that. Baldness suited her. She had all of her stuff packed up, which mostly consisted of some colourful medicines, since she was fond of M&Ms and this was only what she could afford in the name of it.
