This was me at 36 weeks pregnant with twins. I gained a 100 pounds during my 38 1/2 weeks of pregnancy. I was on modified bed rest for three months where I sat on my couch and watched season after season of Grays Anatomy. I could barely walk by the end of it and my feet were so big they could only fit into my husband’s sandals. I was so uncomfortable in my own skin, but I was having my boys soon, so I pushed past the uncomfort and kept my eye on the prize. A year later, I still carried an extra twenty pounds of baby weight that wouldn’t go away. Fast forward to when the boys turned four and I was finally ready and honestly just sick of those dang extra twenty pounds, that I was ready to do something about it. I learned how much a girl my size was actually supposed to eat, learned how to meal prep and have healthy food on hand all day, I learned how to nutritiously feed my body, and I learned how to really lift weights & I fell in love with exercise. After living this new lifestyle, for the past year and a half, I can honestly say I am in the BEST shape of my life! I’m turning 40 this year, and without a shadow of a doubt, I have way more muscle, stamina and strength than I have ever had in my life. If you want to start your health journey and feel overwhelmed by the thought of it, let’s do this together. Reach out, like this post or even be so bold to leave a comment. I have a new group starting soon and I would love to see you transform!
